It may be a new year, but we have the same resolve to continue working to change our relationship to land, home, and race, by transforming the stories we tell about them. We know that harmful narratives play a major role in creating barriers to racial justice and to equitable policies, practices, and public discourse. The good news is that we are not powerless to change systems and policies. We can organize together with our community and make a difference. We stand firm in our resolve to continue this work this year. What are some of your new year's resolutions??

Knowing your rights after you've survived a climate disaster is crucial. For those impacted by recent hurricanes, please check out this helpful guide developed by Texas Housers (http://ow.ly/FheF50L04ag). And to hear powerful stories of the frontline survivors of wildfires, floods, and hurricanes, listen to our podcast, But Next Time.

In But Next Time, we didn’t want to focus on our community members as victims. We know that they’re survivors, they’re thrivers, even up against the odds when they have not been able to tap into the abundance that we know is there. We wanted to call out the lawmakers, the elected officials, the developers, and all the people who have the abundance but aren't helping their communities in equitable or just ways. All episodes are available to stream now on your favorite podcast app. www.butnexttime.com
