Will American Jews ever be unified again? Abe Foxman remains an optimist. - Jewish Telegraphic Agency

"[W]hen I spoke with Foxman in October, I was interested in understanding why he broke from his personal tradition and what he sees as the possibilities for the future for advocacy around Jewish issues in a deeply divided America.

One of the things he told me then was that he thought American Jews had not yet cultivated a vital relationship with Latino communities akin to the historic Black-Jewish alliance that characterized much of the 20th century…"

In spite of the "terrible polarization", the Holocaust survivor and former ADL president is optimistic about the future of Jewish life.

"TikTok said in a blog post Wednesday that it already bans Holocaust denial and works to remove neo-Nazi and white supremacist content. Now it will remove posts advocating similar ideologies like white nationalism, male supremacy and “white genocide theory,” which falsely claims that there is a conspiracy to eliminate white populations with a flood of immigrants."

The move comes less than two weeks ahead of the American election and amid official warnings of potential violence by extremists during and after the vote.

"Stories about Jews go from being essentially neutral to clearly negative when Jews are mentioned three or more times. These articles tend to contain more references to topics like anti-Semitism and the Holocaust; a majority of them touch on Israel/Palestine. These topics are more intensely associated with Jews as a group by these newspapers, and they drive greater negativity."

"[W]hat would it look like–in the wake of the social and racial unrest in these days, and particularly in America–if (as Jews who are also Black Americans) figures from our past would should up to our sukkah this year, to likewise empower us? Who would they be? What would they represent?"

How does religion affect the lives of human being for our current time? Is there even a need to continue believing in something that has yet to be proven to exist? Since we do not believe in the same gods as our primitive ancestors, is it appropriate to reason that God does not exist either? The answers to these questions and more will be answered in this book. First I propose to that we take a look at the question of religion. What is it? Religion is a force that controls the nature of all creation. It is the will of the Creator that incorporates and generates the laws of physic throughout the universe. In that sense, we must come to terms with The Almighty’s Religion for the Universe-this religion encompasses all the religions of this world and the entire universe. Religion is not only the capability to worship and pray to God, it is following the will of The Almighty to help Him in creating the ideal world. One must come to understand that the Creator was at one time alone in this vast infinite universe, and this means He had to be His own pupil and teacher. He did not have samples or models from which to create life. Before there was a universe filled with planets, galaxies, stars, and other heavenly bodies, there was only the spirit of The Almighty, matter, and energy. Since neither matter nor energy had any specific purpose or goal, The Almighty had to investigate and research this lifeless universe of inert matter and energy. He created from this purposeless universe of inert matter and energy a purpose. The Almighty created religion as a means for His creation to take on meaning and purpose. His creations follow certain laws which would provide for the perpetual continuation for existence of orderly and organized matter and energy. Therefore, the law of gravity is ruled by religion. All the forces of nature are rules by His religion. The animals and plant life of our planet are ruled by His religion. All living and non-living things, are ruled by His religion. Mankind no longer has to search for which religion is correct, but rather we must begin to assess and evaluate our understanding of religion in a new and provocative way. Before our solar system and the organization of this material filled universe existed, The Almighty’s religion came into existence. Religion did not come about as a result of the messages given by God’s envoys. These messages were given to people so that they could come to comprehend and acknowledge the basic elemental laws of physic and the revelation of the existence of a spiritual Creator. Yet, Jesus the greatest genius of life, could not convey to His wisest disciple the law of gravity, nor the basis chemical makeup of water (which I am sure many people of today are aware is H2O). How then can we make a comparison to religion of our past and relate them to our current knowledge at this time. The Religions of today are the product of past generations. It is not to say that these religions of the past and the present are no longer viable and meaningless and therefore should be disregarded. On the contrary, they should stand as testament to God’s will towards mankind. It is His will to uplift us from darkness and to give us love and understanding of His existence. He sent us His envoys to prepare us for new understanding and enlightenment. Now, however, mankind does not need any special persons to covey His laws to mankind. Mankind has reached the point where it is able to learn on its own about the Almighty’s religion for the universe. Mankind has the power to teach himself about the rules and law of religion in an entirely different way, and this means we must come to terms with a new definition of religion. Religion is distinctively one element, which encompasses the existence of all living and non-living things. There is nothing living or inert that is not affected by religion. The Almighty created all living and non-living things or beings. In His created universe everything is guided by His religious laws. This religious law, which rules the law of physics for the entire universe, is the new religion that is being revealed and has to be acknowledged. Mankind has entered into a new millennium, these religious revelations and confirmations can propel humanity towards a new sense of accomplishment. These messages help to give new objectives and goals, which will be for this planet and the entire universe. Religion is the force, which helps mankind to reach a level of perfection through enlightenment; religion does not demand the perfection of mankind; rather, it provides for the further elevation of humanity to the height of omni-comprehension and omniscient. Comprehension of the universe and ourselves allows us to have faith in what we cannot see, yet understand. Religion is having faith that the sun will rise. Although we know the sun will rise, the question for our ancestors was, “How does it rise?” Mankind has reached a point where it has discovered the empirical laws of the sun. We know gravity holds the sun in place, and we know the chemical elements keeping it burning and alive. We know that our planet revolvers around the sun, yet we never question how these laws of physics were created. We can assume that God created these laws; however, our religious teachings never state in fact that He did. All we know as Christians is that He spontaneously created the Earth in six days. Ask yourself: Wouldn’t it seem more plausible for people of ancient times to believe this explanation of creation? Scientist have explored and researched the answers to creation and explain it differently. People must for the first time must consider that the law of religion rules the way in which all elements of the universe operate. Before there was a gravitational force there was none; before there was a planet Earth there was none. In other words, nothing comes from nothing. There has to be something before there can be something. Someone has to exist before something can be made to exist. Imagine that our composers, inventors, and scientist could create things with just their mental will. They would first have to create elements which would guide the implementations of their will. The will is intangible and invisible. A person may think, but is anyone capable of using their will to bring into existence material objects? Impossible as it may seem, there is only one entity that has the power to complete this feat and that is the Almighty. His will is religion. Before He created from matter and energy, He had to discover all of matter’s and energy’s peculiar and particular properties and how they related to one another. Once He experimented with various hypotheses, He concluded that it would remain that way. The law of gravity is a religious law bound to the heavenly bodies by the Almighty. It was through the Creator’s will that everything in the universe, including man, was created; therefore, these new religious revelations can help mankind achieve a better understanding and consolidation of all religious laws and principle on the planet Earth as we come to understand “The Almighty’s Religion for the Universe.”
