Suggested Event from member Alexi Brown-Schmidt Greenpoint Gallery is pleased to announce an open call for drawings for this Friday's groupshow. The field will be more narrow than usual, so if you've got some killer pics, this could be a great chance to win the $200 best in show prize.

Greenpoint Gallery’s DRAWING SHOW is October 12th. Our doors open at 8pm.
Artists may enter up to 5 works.
There is no size limit for this show.
Please make sure your name, phone #, the title of the work, and price of the work is taped securely to the back of each piece.
Winner of Best in Show will receive $200 and a solo show!Runner-ups will receive a slot in a group show showcasing other runner-up winners!
This show is for one night, and artists have 3 days after the show (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) to come back and pick up works during gallery hours.Though it is free to submit, there is a $5 per piece registration fee for works accepted to the show. Registration fees go directly toward furnishing the cash prize, and expenses of the reception.
The Greenpoint Gallery is an artist-run, non-profit organization, and we do not take a percentage from the sale of artists' work in our commitment to serve the artistic community.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION is Thursday October 11th.
YOU MUST BRING WORK IN PERSON TO THE GALLERY TO REGISTER.
Drop-off registrations times are: Monday, October 8th, 2-6pm
Tuesday, October 9th, 2-6pm
Wednesday, October 10th, 2-8pm
Thursday, October 11th, 2-11pm. (this is the latest we will take submissions.)

We are located at 390 McGuinness Blvd, 3rd Fl, Brooklyn, NY, 11222 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn near the Pulaski Bridge. The closest trains are the G (Greenpoint Ave) and the 7 (Vernon-Jackson)
