📸📹 Mayor Oliver Queen was out at a site promoting the Markovian Initiative, with VORTEX CEO Alec Tarkov standing beside him as the media gathered around. Oliver explained the benefits of the project, saying:

Oliver: “By offering subsidised leasing to Markovian’s Vortex Industries, they’re gonna be able to create a high-tech factory here, bringing, at the very least, 800 new jobs to Star City.”

But, naturally, the reporters had something else on their minds. After Oliver’s picture had recently appeared on television, seemingly revealing that he was the Green Arrow, the media wasn’t letting the subject go.

Reporter: “Can you shed light on the accusation of being the Green Arrow?”

Another Reporter: “You have said you’re not the Green Arrow. Then who is?”

Oliver immediately tried to shut the questions down.

Oliver: “Guys, enough. If we’re not here to discuss the Markovian Initiative, then you can just get back on the bus, because I will not, for the last time, be answering questions on the Green Arrow.”

Then Tarkov unexpectedly stepped in.

VORTEX CEO: “But I’d be happy to. Alec Tarkov. I’m the VORTEX CEO, and if your mayor is truly a superhero, which seems ludicrous…”

Oliver: “Thank you.”

Tarkov then joked that VORTEX would double its investment because “a safe city is a good place to do business, no?”

Oliver’s response made the whole moment even funnier:

Oliver: “Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Tarkov, but not even my son considers me much of a superhero.”

The irony is fantastic. William once preferred The Flash over Green Arrow, then changed his mind after Green Arrow saved him from Damien Darhk. Now, despite everything, Oliver’s joke about his son not seeing him as a superhero is technically true—and hilariously painful given their difficult relationship at this point. 😭😂

🦸‍♀️🥴 Supergirl’s Funniest Drunk Kara Danvers Moment 😂😂

One of the funniest moments involving Kara Danvers happens when Alex Danvers arrives at an alien bar and discovers that her usually responsible sister is already completely drunk. Kara, played by Melissa Benoist, looks at Alex and, with absolutely no hesitation, says, “Hey, you look like my sister.”

Alex immediately notices something is wrong. Standing in front of Kara while Kara remains seated, she asks, “Are you slurring your words?”

Kara tries desperately to prove that she isn't. “Am I? Cho-co-late… chocolate.” Unfortunately, that demonstration only makes things worse. 😂

Alex realizes that Kara Zor-El—the Kryptonian who can normally fly faster than a speeding bullet—is sitting in a bar struggling to pronounce “chocolate.” She smiles and says, “Wow, Kara Danvers drunk. That’s a first. You know what? I’m driving you home.”

Alex isn't just concerned because Kara is drunk; she's probably thinking about the fact that her sister is Supergirl. A drunk Kryptonian flying home sounds like a terrible idea for everyone except Kara.

Then Kara delivers the perfect line: “I’m not flying, that’s for sure.”

And honestly, thank goodness! Kara might survive crashing into a building, but the building definitely wouldn't. Even DC Comics couldn't explain that insurance claim. 😭
