The Son officially started his first full time job experience! 6 weeks working as a Summer Camp Counselor. He is taking it very seriously 😚
Soon he will start paying rent & meeting his educational and financial goals. As a parent, it’s important to pat self on the back. Whew!

He took a couple of non-fiction books 📚 to read and further his social and emotional skills since his first shift leaves him with a lot of time. We have plenty of these types of books on our shelves. 🤓

We had an outstanding experience at the NYSSMA Majors at Queens College!

Our ensembles delivered exceptional performances across the board:

Jazz Band (Level VI) – Gold with Distinction

Concert Strings (Level IV) – Gold with Distinction

Concert Band (Level IV) – Gold

String Ensemble (Level VI) – Gold with Distinction
(Tyler)

Wind Ensemble (Level VI) – Gold with Distinction

Concert Symphony (Level IV) – Gold with Distinction

Symphonic Orchestra (Level VI) – Gold with Distinction
(Tyler)

We are incredibly proud of our students for their remarkable professionalism both on and off stage, their musical excellence, and the genuine camaraderie they showed throughout the day.

A special shout-out to Jared Hung, Sinatra graduate (’24) and current Juilliard tuba student, who did a phenomenal job conducting the Wind Ensemble and Concert Band.

The Instrumental Department faculty couldn't be prouder!

All program and ensemble audition information for all All-City Ensembles can be found HERE.

Auditions will be held on June 7th and 8th at Talent Unlimited High School from 9am-12:30pm.

* All Participants must be registered in a NYC DOE Public High School (grades 9-12) in order to Participate
