PAL Acting Program

"When you teach a kid how to act, you teach a kid how to act!"
-Tony Danza

Recently we produced a video for American Icon (and our founder's former boss) Mr. Tony Danza! The spot highlights a program which Tony founded for the NYC Police Athletic League called PAL Acting.

It's a great program for at risk youth in NYC that focuses on giving NYC teens a safe and creative outlet to explore their talents. Tony and the kids put on a fundraiser every year called Tony Danza and the Stars of Tomorrow! If you have the means, please consider donating to this worthy program.

Check out the video below!

The Building: Under Lockdown

Our new scripted series all about life in the pandemic and based on a stage play premieres this Wednesday, July 1! Filmed entirely on zoom from the actors homes. Truly are one of a kind series.

Coming July 1: The first series produced entirely under lockdown!

06/23/2020

Here’s my entry into the quarantine diaries... The Building: Under Lockdown we made a show entirely on Zoom! 👀🎬 Based on a stage play, with a lot of real life in present day NYC mixed in. Part documentary and part soap opera. We had to figure out how to tell the story while all the actors were in different places. Now we just need people to watch it!

Video Diaries - Google Drive

Stuck at home like us? Here's something to do: We are putting together a video of responses to the current situation. Please consider making a short video of yourself answering these questions and send it to us. Looking for responses from everyone, all over the US and the world.

Answers can be short and sweet, or as long as you want to make them. Hopefully it can be kind of like therapy to talk out our anxieties, etc. And it gives an outlet to talk about how you're feeling. Grab your spouse, your kids, or just yourself and film your responses.

I will use the footage to make a video that illustrates how regular people are all feeling about our current situation.

Send me an email with your video attached or message me for a google drive link to upload.

QUESTIONS:

1) Introduce yourself, age, location.

2) What do you do for a living?

3) tell us the date

4) Is this impacting your job? How?

5) Do you have to go to work? Will you get paid if you can't go back for a while? How long do you have to stay away?

6) Describe your first impressions of the situation. Then talk about how you feel now that we are a few days in.

7) What are your biggest frustrations right now?

😎 Give us your thoughts on what role the media is playing in all of this. Good? Bad? Both? Be specific.

9) What's the craziest thing happening right now in your opinion?

10) How do you feel right now?

11) What are your predictions regarding what will happen next? How do you think this will turn out?

THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS! Feel free to share. Please stay safe and away from other people! #flattenthecurve #coronavirus
