Dear Doctor's Channel, as a fellow medical doctor I would like to ask for your support of the resident's hunger strike in Warsaw, Poland, which is now in its 8th day (since 2nd October). We are primarily fighting for increased governement spending on healthcare, from the lowest level in the EU (4.4% GDP, compared to the US' 17% GDP). Thus far 4 hunger strikers (all medical doctors) have been asked to leave the hunger strike on medical grounds. Unfortunately our movement is not gaining movement in the international medical community, we have written to several major news outlets but it has not gained traction. I will leave more information in reply to this post.
