PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

BEWARE OF THE ACTIVITIES OF FRAUD SYNDICATE

Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development wishes to inform the general public that there's a fraud syndicate calling on unsuspecting members of the public to pay the sum of N5,000 to access a grant from the ministry.

The Ministry hereby advises the people to discountenance calls or request for money to facilitate access to grant. Farmers who receive such calls should notify the Ministry or any security agent for necessary action.

The syndicate parading themselves as staff of the ministry to defraud people should desist forthwith from misleading the public, otherwise they will face the full wrath of the law.

The ministry will upon approval of the Akwa Ibom State Government inform farmers through appropriate channels about grants or loan disbursement.
