🚨NEW: As Millennials and Gen Z consumers fuel an intentional interest in adopting health and wellness as a lifestyle habit rather than a passing fad, brands and retailers are rushing to cater to their needs.

Just last week, PepsiCo signaled its intent to go full steam ahead into “healthy” sodas when it announced the launch of Pepsi Prebiotic Cola, its first functional cola beverage for the Pepsi brand.

On Wednesday, Walmart announced its plan to become even more competitive with wellness offerings for its shoppers by adding two prominent and buzzy social media brands, Nutrafol(a hair growth supplements brand) and Ritual(a maker of multivitamins and supplements), to its lineup of 50 other wellness brands that it has launched in its stores and online over the past two years.

Both brands are now available on Walmart.com and Ritual products will also roll into stores in the fall.

Pepsi on Monday signaled its intent to go full steam ahead into “healthy” sodas by announcing the launch of Pepsi Prebiotic Cola.

The new 30-calorie beverage contains no artificial sweeteners, five grams of cane sugar and three grams of prebiotic fiber and is expected to launch online in the fall in two flavors — Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla — and in stores in early 2026 in 12-ounce single cans and an 8-pack option.

mania is in full force and there’s just no escaping it.

The furry plush collectible monster-like toy with a cheeky, toothy smile has ignited a global obsession with kids, adults, celebrities, the fashion world and now supermarket chains.

Popular low-priced grocer ALDI USA teased its Instagram followers on Wednesday with two images of a Labubu dressed head-to-toe in Aldi drip. In one photo, the Labubu sports an Aldi-branded bucket hat, tote, sweats and slides while holding an Aldi play coin.

Aldi captioned its post with this message: “20k likes and we’ll make this a reality. 👀 Tell us what ALDI accessories you’d want your monster to sport, and we might just look into making them!”

Attention IKEA shoppers: Do you go to Ikea for the food? Then the company has good news for you.

The home-furnishings retailer recently said it would slash the price of its US in-store menu by half from Monday through Friday, with kids eating for free during the week, starting in August.

That will mean lower prices on things like Swedish meatballs, pancakes and salmon fillets at more than 50 stores across the country.

A reputation for serving food worth eating can be good for business, industry experts say, making a shopping trip feel more like an experience. And when it’s done right, it can be a draw.

New: Amazon Prime Day 2025 kicks off next week. It has traditionally been a two-day event. This year, it stretches across four days for the first time.

From July 8-11, Prime members will be offered plenty of juicy deals and discounts across a slew of products — tech, clothing, footwear, home appliances, beauty, baby and pets.

But maybe savvier deal hunting this time around will require shoppers to not immediately jump at those enticing “Lightning deals” but to show some restraint and do their research.

Nipping on Amazon’s heels are Walmart and Target. Both retailers are running their own competing sales events to Prime Day, beginning next week, that will also last for a couple of days.

The animal, native to the Sahara Desert, is accustomed to warm, dry, climates and VistaJet—befitting an outfit with rates starting around $15,000 an hour—was able to offer it heated floors so it would feel more at home.

Airlines are already fighting to attract high-end travelers, and there’s increasing demand to fly their pets as well.

Companies are offering gourmet treats, meals made with prime cuts of meat, and water mixed with calming natural flower essences. As sleep hits, there are plush organic sleep mats on which to curl up.
