1. Who may enter
Open to all singers and dancers (single or groups of two or more), as well as stand-up comedians (one individual per contestant) from anywhere in the world regardless of gender, age, race, creed and nationality.
Performers in all three disciplines (singing, dancing, standup comedy) will compete against each other across all disciplines during the monthly elimination rounds on social media starting on March 1, 2020. The three winners in each monthly elimination round (March, April, May, June, and July) will compete for the championship in the Grand Finals from 3 pm to 6 pm Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Meadowlands Expo Center.
2. How to register
As a contestant, you are required to register on our website, americasworldtalents.com or by emailing us the following information: name, phone, email, address and date of birth at [email protected]. You will receive a confirmation email once the online registration is complete and instructions on how to submit your video entry.
3. How to submit entries

Smartphone recording
If you are using your smartphone to record your new video(s), simply use your phone’s camera to record a video of your performance and send it to AWT.
Camcorder recording
If you recorded your performance with a camcorder, submit your entry in any of the following formats: MP4, MOV, WMV, FLV, AVI and AVCHD.
Please note that AWT will require you to fill out an application form before your submitted video is uploaded to our AWT social networks -- AWT Facebook, AWT YouTube and AWT Twitter.
Pre-existing videos
AWT accepts current videos shared or sent from your social networks but the count will be based on Most Likes on our AWT social network platforms in the specific month you joined. You are permitted to hashtag only up to 5 hashtags per video.
4. What is the maximum length of entry material?
o Maximum length of entry materials for singers: 2 to 3 minutes for social media account of AWT
o Maximum length of entry materials for dancers: 2 to 3 minutes for social media account of AWT
o Maximum length of entry materials for stand-up comedians: 3 minutes for social media account of AWT
5. How the online contest works
All monthly entries will be posted on America’s World Talents’ preferred social media platforms: America’s World Talents YouTube, America’s World Talents Facebook, America's World Talents Tiktok and America’s World Talents Twitter. Selection of the 3 monthly winners will be based solely on the highest total number of “Likes” received on those platforms.
Monthly winners are no longer eligible to compete in succeeding months. Contestants in the elimination rounds who have not been selected among the monthly winners based on total social media “Likes” are allowed to submit new entry videos as long as they are of different material in every succeeding month, ending in July 30, 2020.
AWT only gives the $500 monthly prize to the performance video that generated a minimum of 2,000 views on AWT’s YouTube channel in addition to the Most Likes on our Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter and YouTube accounts for a specific month. YouTube channel in addition to the Most Likes on Twitter and Facebook for a specific month .
6. What contestants can perform
Singers (single or groups of two or more) may perform in the following vocal styles: Broadway, country, adult contemporary, jazz, gospel, rhythm and blues (R&B), rap, rock, and variety. Songs must be performed in the English language and without the use or mention of curse or hate lyrics/words, whether already performing or when preparing to perform.
Dancers (single or groups of two or more) may perform in the following styles: ballroom (waltz, tango, boogie-woogie, foxtrot, salsa, and rumba), acrobatic or gymnastic, contemporary, ethnic or folk dance, jazz, hip hop, tap, and line dancing. Any type of background musical accompaniment – instrumental or with vocals – is acceptable. Online submissions must not be longer than 2 minutes. AWT reserves the right to decline overtly suggestive moves in dance routines.
Stand-up Comedians are required to take part only as individuals and must use English as their material.
Performers’ videos must be a performance and not a promotional or documentary video.

8. How do I get paid in the monthly contest?
Monthly winners will be paid within 15 days via wire transfer. You will need to provide your bank account information.
9. Permission to release
Submission of registration forms signifies that the contestants allow the organizers of America’s World Talents to publish or post their entry materials and their likeness in any appropriate medium – print, TV, social media – for marketing and promotional purposes.
10. Conduct
By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of AWT personnel. Contestants who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.
AWT will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the contest and AWT’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. Persons must voluntarily submit to and complete a background check in accordance with applicable laws and execute all documents required by AWT in connection with such background check.
If the conduct or outcome of the contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of AWT, AWT reserves the right to terminate this contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as AWT deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by AWT and are final.

All monthly entries are viewable on America’s World Talents’ social media accounts (AWT YouTube, AWT Facebook and AWT Twitter). Contestants are encouraged to ask members of their social network to “Like” their entries on the applicable social media platform and share their entries in order to amass the most number of “Likes,” the only criterion.

12. Future contest
AWT’s talent contest is only online but it is not ruling out the possibility of holding a larger event with big cash prizes in front of a live audience. Please watch for announcements on americasworldtalents.com, on AWT Facebook and on AWT Twitter.

The foregoing eligibility requirements may be amended, revised, or changed at any time and in any fashion at AWT’s sole discretion.
