Finished my swim up bar or as we call this area our "lower bar area". I looked at a ton of pictures on this group & built this using a few ideas from all of them. I'm not sure what stools I'll use yet, but i had these so they'll work for now. Next year the deck & fence will go up & then I can get rid of the ladder.

Well we did it!! We’re a family of 5 (3 kids under 11 years old).. we live on 10 acres in Middle Tennessee.. which is one big rock. We were quoted $33k (base price) for a semi- inground.. but knew the price would drastically increase as soon as they started digging. So we went with a 30 ft above ground instead.. and are SO HAPPY!!!! Y’all have been such an inspiration and encouragement to me throughout this process!! Anytime I think of something I search this group and find the answers!! We were able to finally swim tonight after 2 LONG days of filling. Next is the deck.. which will probably cost more than the pool!! 😂😬

My son-in-law bought this for my birthday in May since I work at a school and love my summer pool time.
This is our 13th year opening our pool and usually we put 4 gallons of shock a week. Since this Pool Ionizer we have only added shock 3 times in 2 months. I can’t explain how it works but our water has never been this clear and stayed this clear for this long.

Devastated that the pool gave way but fortunate nobody was in at the time. Of course insurance doesn’t cover this so there goes $10k…

So this is what I crafted because I got tired of the wasps and the bees always attacking us while we were trying to swim. I tried everything but nothing ever worked but I guarantee this works. We can finally swim bug free and be free and the Sun is still shines through it. Doesn't look pretty good but it serves its purpose. Mosquito netting, 6 ft tomato stakes, pool noodles and some duct tape.

I posted a month ago about my oval pool that didn’t look like it was installed correctly and the sides had pulled out of the rails. The installer came back and slid them in and said everything was fine. I watched in horror yesterday as my brand new pool started to collapse. I’ve only had it for a month and a half. I’m so sad. Ugh…
