Birds Moment

Today was a pretty nice day! The sun was out and the birds seemed to enjoy it. I saw several birds splashing around in the stream throughout the day. It's been fun seeing so many finches around lately! They seem to come to the feeders in waves, sometimes with close to a dozen of them. They are a mix of house finches and goldfinches! They were pretty scarce all summer so it's nice to see so many now! The bluebirds seem to be hanging around too! Yay! I hope they stay all winter! It's always a great birdie day!

This little bird's got some serious style with that vibrant blue head, striking red and white belly, and those pops of red on its wings. The black stripe through its eye adds a touch of drama, and those bright yellow feet are just adorable. Perched on that weathered wood, it's like it's posing for a nature photography contest. The blurred green and yellow background really makes the bird pop.
