WHAT YOUR TONGUE IS TRYING TO TELL YOU

That’s not just “ordinary sore.”
That’s not “salt and pepper reaction.”
And no, it’s not just because you didn’t drink enough water.

That burning, swollen, cracked, ulcered tongue?

It’s your gut screaming through your mouth.

A man came to me with diabetes.
Blood sugar? 430 mg/dL.
Tongue? Wounded, scarred, irritated—for over 2 years.

Your tongue is a mirror of your gut.
