When I was young, I dreamed to be a virgin bride to the man I want for the rest of my life. Aside from that, I was afraid of my mom, and also because I want God's blessing first.
Another reason was, I didn't want to get pregnant at young age and wanted to finish my degree. My mom was so strict when it comes to having a boyfriend while studying. If you wonder if I had a boyfriend before, the answer is yes. I had boyfriends before but it was a secret and I guess it wasn’t my top priority.
There were times that my mom knew I had a boyfriend but I kept on denying it because I didn't want her to be disappointed in me.
Fast Forward... When I was in my college years, I had exes but we didn't have time to meet and to spend time for some reasons, we were in a long distance relationship or because I was afraid to meet and spend time with them alone. (I had exes but not at the same time ha like those time nagkauyab ko but dili l dungan ) I spent time with exes but with a friend or maybe in public places.
FAST FORWARD AGAIN...
After I graduated college and when I started working and living alone , I had an ex-boyfriend and someone with a mutual understanding but we never ended up together. (my priority was my job, I do want to be with someone but at the same time I don’t have time for them). I guess, I was just so workaholic back then. So, yes, I stayed single and a V woman cause I hadn’t found the one . So, I stayed single for a while and always pray to meet someone who would accept my principle of "MARRIAGE FIRST." YES, I HAVE ALWAYS PRAYED TO MEETI HIM. I NEVER EXPECTED TO HAVE MET SOMEONE WILLING TO WAIT UNTIL MARRIAGE FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY. I THOUGHT I'M GONNA BE AN OLD MAIDEN AND LIVE WITH NO ONE IN MY LIFE, BUT THE PANDEMIC BROUGHT ME TO ONE OF THE DATING SITES. MY PURPOSE WAS TO MEET FRIENDS TO TALK TO IN ENGLISH BECAUSE I WANTED TO CONTINUE TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH NATURALLY AND FIND STUDENTS WHO WOULD STUDY ENGLISH WITH ME UNTIL WE MATCHED ON THAT APP AND TALK FOR A WHILE AND UNEXPECTEDLY FELL FOR THAT PERSON🥰 HE COURTED MEN IN A FILIPINO WAY❤️
AFTER 2 MONTHS OF TALKING, AND WE STARTED DATING LAST NOVEMBER 2021. AFTER 2 MONTHS OF IN A RELATIONSHIP, I TOLD HIM MY PRINCIPLE ABOUT "MARRIAGE FIRST" | WAS LUCKY ENOUGH THAT HE UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED IT.
INSTEAD, HE ASSURED ME THAT HE'LL RESPECT ME & MY PRINCIPLE.
AFTER 5 MONTHS OF IN A RELATIONSHIP, HE VISITED ME IN THE PHILIPPINES. HE MADE ME FEEL SAFE AND SECURE WHEN WE WERE TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME. HE SHOWED ME THAT NOT ALL MEN ARE THE SAME, THERE ARE STILL MEN WHO ARE WILLING TO WAIT. WE NEVER HAD DONE IT EVEN THOUGH WE MET 4 TIMES ALREADY UNTIL AFTER THE WEDDING DAY. JUST SHARING! BECAUSE THERE ARE A LOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE NOWADAYS, WHO GET THEIR GIRL PREGNANT OR YOUNG GIRLS ARE GETTING PREGNANT BUT JUST ABANDONED THEIR KIDS OR EVEN WORSE LOST THEIR BABY INTENTIONALLY🥹
✅❤️FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE STILL STUDYING, FOCUS ON YOUR STUDIES AND GET THAT DEGREE, FIND A JOB AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL FOLLOW🥰❤️
AND IF YOU EVER GET PREGNANT, BE RESPONSIBLE❤️🥰 BUT DON’T JUST GET PREGNANT BY ANYONE ASIDE FROM YOUR PARTNER/ HUSBAND SO YOU WON’T REGRET LATER 🥰❤️
