85 years young and still draining birdie putts! 🐦⛳️

Rohan Udeshi and I were out at Spring Meadow working on some new Birdie-View tech when we crossed paths with Herbert E. Groener , rocking his New York Yankees cap.

As Herb walked toward the green, he asked if we wanted his autograph.

I jokingly told him, “Make the birdie and I do.”

Well… Herb stepped up to the 15-footer, drained it, and immediately pointed right at me to make sure I saw it. 😂

I saw it, Herb!

Unfortunately, our camera didn’t. His playing partner happened to be standing directly between the camera and the cup — which is exactly why we were out there testing a new greenside angle.

The good news? The new camera was live in time for the next birdie. 👀 Stay tuned…

And an 85-year-old Yankees fan draining a 15-footer has to be a good sign for tonight. I’m thinking Schlittler helps even this series. ⚾️💪

The last week has been a complete wash at Spring Meadow. Thankfully, the Nor’easter didn’t cause any significant damage to the course, but some of our NJ coastal towns weren’t as lucky. Our thoughts are with all the families, homes, and local businesses working to get back on their feet.

We spent some time at the course yesterday afternoon installing some new tech and happened to catch Jim Keane hit one of the best shots of the day on 18 — sticking it inside 3 feet from the cup. 🎯

But around here, we know the rule… all birdies have to be putted out.

Jimmy stepped up and knocked it in with ease. 🐦⛳️

They always say golf has a way of keeping you coming back. A birdie on 18 definitely qualifies. Maybe next time Jimmy will sign up for the Birdie-View Challenge and take home a prize with it. 👀

Texas Scramble Part 2! 🤠⛳️
We made the trip from Jersey to Texas, and it was finally time to tee it up at Tempest Golf Club! Our foursome came ready to play, and the birdies started dropping early. We finished the day at 15 UNDER PAR… and somehow that wasn’t even good enough to crack the top 3 😂
But this trip was about a lot more than golf. Getting to support Finns Friends 💚 , meet some incredible people, and make memories with the boys made the entire experience worth it. Huge thank you to everyone who helped put this event together and welcomed us to Texas! 🤠

🏌️ Birdie-View is making headlines in PGA Magazine!

A huge congratulations to our friend and Spring Meadow Golf Club’s Director of Golf, Paul Freda, on being featured in PGA Magazine! 👏

When we first introduced Paul to Birdie-View, he saw the potential in something new and was open-minded enough to give us a shot. That willingness to innovate helped turn an idea into a reality at Spring Meadow.

Now, just a few months later, we’ve captured multiple hole-in-ones, countless birdies, and unforgettable moments that golfers can relive and share forever. 🎥⛳

Paul’s feature highlights what Birdie-View is all about: enhancing the golfer experience while giving courses new ways to engage their customers and drive business.

Thank you, Paul, for believing in the vision and helping us bring it to life. We’re proud to have Spring Meadow as our first home and excited about what’s ahead! 🚀

👏 Please join us in congratulating Paul on this well-deserved recognition in PGA Magazine! ⛳

🎥⛳️ 6 SKINS. ONE PUTT. ZERO EMOTION. 🥶

I may be traveling this weekend, but the Birdie-View cameras are still rolling!

joeysav_ and his group arrived at 18 with SIX skins on the line. For those unfamiliar with skins, the previous five holes had all been tied, making the 18th worth 6x the agreed-upon value. 💰

Most groups would’ve thought that was enough pressure. Not these guys. Joey, Andrew, and Mike all signed up for the Birdie-View Challenge to raise the stakes even higher.

Joey hit a beautiful baby draw that landed pin-high left and rolled out to about 8 feet.

With his playing partners already in for par, the math was simple: miss and split the skins, or make it and take home SIX skins AND the Birdie-View prize. 👀

Joey calmly rocked the putter back and buried it. CENTER CUP. 🎯

Now, we’re used to seeing some wild celebrations out here. But Joey? He casually retrieved his ball and stepped aside to let the final guy finish.

Act like you’ve been there before.

And apparently, he has. Joey finished with a 77, so we’re guessing that wasn’t his only birdie of the day!

Six skins. A Birdie-View prize. A 77 on the card.

Congrats, Joey! 👏⛳️

A few weeks ago, Jack Waddleton reached out asking if we can come out as a vendor for a few of his friends who wanted to golf together.

One thing led to another… and “a few foursomes” turned into 40 guys. 😂

College buddies, high school buddies, old friends - all getting together for what became the first annual Spring Meadow Scramble. That’s what we called it this year, anyway. We’ve got some work to do on the name for 2027. 😂

By the time Jack and The Artist formerly known as Wadds reached 18, they knew they were out of contention for the overall trophy.

So there was only one thing left to do: go out with a bang.

Mike stepped up and hit the best tee shot we saw ALL DAY, sticking it to 12 feet, 2 inches and putting his name on the closest-to-the-pin prize. 🎯

When Mike couldn’t finish off the birdie putt, big bro Jack stepped in and cleaned it up. 🐦🤝

Mike takes home closest-to-the-pin honors. Jack finishes the birdie. And the brothers tag-team one last Birdie-View highlight to cap off their first friends’ outing.

40 guys in Year 1…

At this rate, Jack and Mike might have to rent out the whole course in 2027. 😂⛳️

Congrats to the Waddleton brothers - and to all 40 guys who made the first outing one a hell of a day. 🍻

This one’s a little different from what we normally post here…

After our season ended with a championship 🏆, I looked back through everything my Meta glasses captured throughout the year and realized I had at least one moment from every guy that helped us win the ’chip.

So I put them together - each guy signing the lineup card, followed by one of his highlight moments from the season.

And it reminded me why we started Birdie-View in the first place.

It was never just about cameras or golf shots. It’s about capturing the moments in sports that you’ll want to relive years from now - the big plays, the celebrations, and the raw emotion with your boys.

This one just happens to be softball. 🥎

Hope y’all enjoy the montage.

🎂 BIRTHDAY BIRDIE — WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM THE “CELEBRITY” 🐦⛳️

mmortellito3 celebrated his birthday yesterday, and there was no chance a wrist injury earlier in the week was going to make him miss an outing with all his boys.

The wrist was too painful to hit tee shots, but Mike still wasn’t sitting this one out. He signed up his 2-man scramble for the Birdie-View Challenge and put his faith in playing partner Travis Holland to handle the tee shots all day while Mike saved himself for the putts.

When they reached 18, the other twosome agreed to let Kyle Raventos step in and hit a “celebrity shot” in Mike’s place. 😂

No golf shoes. No glove. And a borrowed 56° wedge.

Kyle figured if he was stepping in for the birthday boy, he at least wanted to give him a good look at birdie.

He locked in and sent a towering pitch shot that landed just inches from the cup before rolling out to about 8 feet. 🎯

Mike stepped up first and narrowly missed the birthday birdie — but in doing so, gave Travis the perfect read.

Travis wasted no time.

Center cup. Birdie. 🐦🔥

A couple bro pounds, a Birdie-View highlight, and a couple new friends and followers of the page.

Great meeting you two fine gents, and a very happy birthday to Mike! Hopefully next time we see you, that wrist is healthy and you’re hitting your own tee shot on 18. 😂🤝
