My fiancé’s best friend told him to get a paternity test—at our pregnancy announcement dinner. I disinvited him from the wedding.

I (26F) just announced my pregnancy with my fiancé (33M) to his family. Everyone cheered—except his best friend, Jason. He stared at me, hugged my fiancé, and whispered loudly: “Three words, man—paternity test.”

I was floored. I confronted him, asking him to repeat it. He backpedaled, calling it “just a joke,” but I told him he was officially uninvited from our wedding for accusing me of cheating in front of my future in-laws. He stormed out, calling me dramatic.

My fiancé says Jason’s just “brutally honest” and that uninviting him is too extreme. But I feel humiliated, robbed of my joy, and unsupported when I needed my fiancé most.

Am I wrong for banning his best friend after he disrespected me at one of the most important moments of my life?
