Taught my last class on my project! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I feel accomplished on today. Now I got to get in go-live mode.
My transparency: this has been a remote project for me so I got to teach in my PJs for the last 4 months 😁 Everyone except ME will be remote for the go live. I am the only trainer on my team that had to be onsite for support for go live. So I had to fly to Chicago on Labor Day....1st time flying in 6 months! I complained initially because I honestly got spoiled in being in the comforts of my home in my PJs with my fuzzy socks and nice hefty cup of Joe in hand! 😁I got comfortable during the pandemic! I had anxiety about having to fly, having to get a COVID test, having to be in 2 of the largest and busiest airports in the world and just having to navigate a new city and new people for three weeks! I was sooooo comfortable at home! I even tried to pull rank (EGO driven) and told my contracting firm that I had been in this business 10 years and why are you not advocating for me to be home like everyone else..ya da ya da ya da!!!??? I was in my EGO self hardcore!🤪 My close friends gave me several pep talks about going. So Friday-Sunday, I had to sit with myself and reflect, refocus, release and really peel back those layers of EGO.
I asked:
Why am I going to Chicago?
Who am I supposed to meet and connect with?
What opportunities are there waiting for me?
Who can I pour into there?
What is my purpose in Chicago?
How did I get so lucky that I am the one chosen to go?
What if it is about rest for me? I actually relax in hotel rooms!
What if it about Laryn and her journey to more independence opportunities?

My take on all of this:
1. Your purpose will always present opportunities for you to walk out.
2. Get OVER yourself and get out of EGO!
3. Change the narrative that my good friend says, “uncomfortability does not equate to pain.”
4. It is on you to recognize those areas in your life that you need to grow in.
5. Remember the 3 Rs: Reflect on situation, Release Ego and Refocus to matters that are important!
