Thanks for all of the support from the following and the reading of the story, "Little Red's Beast." I would jsut love to give my thanks and I hope the support continues.
For those who have not visited the Dreame app, I want to give a sneak peek for the story.
This comes from Chapter 11 of the story, "Little Red's Beast."
Lucas and I looked at each other before turning our attention back to Sara who was looking more sadder by the second.
"What happened?"
"So.... Melody, the quiet one.... we were on the phone with her... and then her phone went dead. Like completely dead."
"Then maybe her phone was dying and she didn't know."
"Brother.... Melody always has her phone charged. Non-stop for her music. Plus no one has seen or heard from her since. It's been over two hours since then."
"Baby don't be sad." Lucas said, getting up to comfort his mate. He caressed her hands and lifted her head.
"Let me search for her. I know her scent so it shouldn't be hard to track her down."
Sara nodded her head and I stood from my desk.
"We should all go search. This is someone who you care for. Lucas head for town. You can get to the cops. Sara and I will head to the forest and see if her scent can be picked up there."
Everyone nodded their heads and he headed out on the hunt. Sara and I ran through the forest tracking down Melody's scent as best as we could.
"Sara, Alpha.... I got news..." Lucas said through the mind link.
"What's going on, Lucas?"
"The two girls Sara told us about earlier....I got news from the police department.... They were found... slaughtered along with their aunt. Looks like a wolf attack."
Sara stopped and whined a saddened whine. I could tell she was in pain considering she was close to these girls. I walked over to her and gave her a comforting nuzzle. She whined again and then we froze smelling the scent of blood. We looked at each other and followed the scent. We were led to an abandoned warehouse. Sara pushed the door opened and her wolf froze. I came up behind her and looked at the horrible sight.
Blood splattered all over the floor. A small girl's body was eaten through. Sara walked over to the body and I saw multiple paw prints on the ground along with a human's foot print. She whimpered and howled loud.
"It's Melody....This is.... Melody."
"This just happened today. This is still fresh." I examined the room and looked at the broken phone parts.
"This must be the reason why her phone went dead. It was taken and broken."
Sara started shifting and I went in front of her.
"Sara don't. You know how the police work. If you leave any evidence connected to you, you will be put here."
"Brother we can't just leave her! Look at this place! She must have been tortured...and then eaten...Look at the chains above us. Her hands are still in them!"
"Sara I know you are upset but-"
"Nothing! I..I just-"
"I know...I know..." I came around her and nuzzled her fur, comforting her as much as I could."
"Lucas... inform the police about this."
"Yes Alpha."
