⭐ Get an ideal lay. Flatlay. ⭐
Flatlays are a must in popular social media platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest.
What is it? A flat lay is a collection of items artfully ordered on a flat surface. It is a shot from above in a bird's eye view and is often arranged around a specific theme.
Why you need it? 🤔 A flat lay is an ideal way to display an outfit, specific product, combination, or make the engaging post.
How to make an ideal FL?
The right angle for a flat lay is from straight above your surface. Use a chair to climb on if your surface is a bit higher up (say on a table).
Take multiple shots from a closed position and then also a few from further away, even if there are bits on the edges that you don't want in your flat lay.

⭐ Find The Perfect Spot To Shoot ⭐
Look for a lot of natural light flowing in to take a light and bright image. Find a flat surface to avoid further shadows, lumps, or bumps in your image. Options: tabletop, kitchen counter, floor.
⭐ Consider Background ⭐
A crisp white background is classics, but don't limit your creativity. Choose anything until it doesn't mess your composition: colored backdrops, wood grain, marble, or faux fur. Or bed sheets, of course. You can also use something called a scene creator to put together the perfect flat lay with minimal effort.
⭐ Pick A Cohesive Theme ⭐
It can be as simple as curating items of the same color. Or: breakfast/dinner), books you're reading, beauty products, and so much more. Get creative!
⭐ Select Items ⭐
Choose some larger or more important things which are the focus of your shot.
⭐ Arrange Your Items ⭐
There are no set rules, so test different placements and see what you prefer the most. Be sure to capture heaps of different images, and don't be afraid to play around with composition and zoom.
⭐ Post And Repeat :) ⭐
