Everyone is entitled to tell their story.

When I shared mine, I didn’t do it so anyone can explain my experience for me. I lived it.
One thing I’ve learned is that kindness should never be assumed on behalf of someone else. It hurts to hear what women are going through, my DMs are fulllll.

Please let’s do better.
Invite people.
Call them.
Include them.

Then allow them decide what they can and cannot handle.
We don’t always know what someone is carrying, but we can always choose compassion, inclusion, and thoughtfulness.

This new month, may we stop deciding what people can handle and start giving them the dignity of choice.

May this new month find us being a little kinder, a little more intentional, and a little more mindful of the people around us.
