WHICH COMPANIES GET THE MOST OUT OF ADVERTISING AT SUPERBOWL?
When 30 seconds of airtime costs $5.6 Million and companies need to make a significant impact in a very short time, which companies make the best case for advertising SuperBowl in your opinion?
It’s interesting to see so many startups making that investment this year. Tech companies were the 2nd largest category, spending $51 million.
Because of the high cost, one would be inclined to say that SB Ads would be best suited for well-established companies.
But in the case of some Startups, it might provide the opportunity of a lifetime. If you’re trying to get in front of a lot of people, who are not familiar with the category or the brand, #SuperBowl offers a tremendous advantage.
That’s the opportunity the Dashlane team grabbed this year. By combining humor, good storytelling, and a relatable main character, they were able to convey the pain point and solution and thereby get the attention of millions of viewers. Not to mention also position themselves as an Expert in a category, generally perceived as complicated.
Among big companies, my fav were : Jeep, KI & Google. For creating that emotional connection with the audience.

Instagram is coming up with a new messaging app called Threads!!!
It will give your friends automatic status updates on essentially your every move, including information about your location, speed. .
The messaging platform appears to work similarly to Instagram’s current messaging system. .
You’ll also be able to view your friends’ stories from within the Threads app. It all points to a push to draw people away from apps like Snapchat and TikTok, both of which are popular with younger users. .

VIDEO RANKING UPDATE JUST ANNOUNCED BY FACEBOOK

We want to help talented video creators find their audience and build profitable video businesses on Facebook. We want to help media companies — whether large, small, global, or local — continue their invaluable work.
And above all, we want to help people on Facebook discover great videos and build relationships with the creators and publishers that matter to them.
To do this, we’re introducing a series of ranking updates over the coming months that will further prioritize original videos that people seek out.
What Are the Changes?
We are sharing an update on three factors that impact video ranking on Facebook:
1) Loyalty and intent
2) Video and viewing durations
3) Originality
The changes will affect video distribution across Facebook, including News Feed, Facebook Watch and our “More Videos” recommendations.
Loyalty and intent:
Intent and repeat viewership are important factors we consider when surfacing videos to people in News Feed. Going forward, we will add more weight in ranking to videos that people seek out and return to week after week.
Video and viewing duration:
As we’ve shared in the past, it’s important to ensure that videos capture viewers’ attention for at least one minute. We will add more weight in ranking to videos that keep people engaged, especially on videos that are at least three minutes long.
Originality:
Last year we announced that we would limit distribution for unoriginal or repurposed content from other sources with limited or immaterial added value — as well as demote video content from Pages that are involved in sharing schemes.
We will more strongly limit distribution and monetization for this kind of content.
While there are numerous factors that determine video distribution on Facebook, these changes will benefit video distribution for Pages that create original content people want to watch and come back to.
We’ll conti
