It's finally spooky season and Cait and Kait have two very on brand stories this episode. First, Cait tells us the tragic story that inspired Wes Craven's Nightmare on Elm Street (it's not what you think!). Then, Kait tells us all about the real live conjuring house, its original owners, and the hauntings that have taken place (you can visit the house, do an evening investigation and even camp on the property! If only Kait could convince Cait to take a field trip).

Episode 22 is here and this one is definitely a doozy. First, Kait covers the story of Brooke Preston, a 21 year old bright, fun, loving college student who was brutally murdered by her “sleepwalking” roommate. Then, Cait tells the tale of the sea orphan, which, while sounding mystical, is a survival story of 11 year old Terry Jo Duperrault. It's basically the end of summer and we are ready to kick off spooky szn early for episode 21! First, Cait takes us to Australia where a shark was caught in the 70's and coughs up something pretty suspicious that leads to a murder investigation. We’ve got a doom and gloom one for episode 19 starting off with Cait telling us about the horrendous (and that’s putting it lightly) acts of Rodney Alcala aka the dating game killer (also can we stop giving serial killers nicknames pls). Then, Kait tells us about the Parker-Hulme murder in New Zealand (which is the basis of the 1994 Peter Jackson film Heavenly Creatures staring the fabulous Melanie Lynskey and Kate Winslet).

we have a lot of new followers & just wanted to say hi & reintroduce ourselves! we are Kaitlynn (left) & Caitlin (right), we’re two friends who met in college who were put into a dorm room together because of their very similar names. we came together to make this pod because we both found ourselves sharing interesting and true articles & stories to each other while our other friends would ignore these texts and messages LOL. kait was actually called “snapple fact kait” since she has the most random knowledge of things stored in her mind.
