Breast cancer hills I will absolutely die on.

Being cancer-free doesn’t mean you “move on.” You’re allowed to hate the side effects of treatment that saved your life. And survivorship care should be treated like actual healthcare, because life after breast cancer comes with a whole new set of challenges no one really prepares you for.

As a young breast cancer survivor, I have MANY more where these came from.

What’s your breast cancer hill you’ll die on? Add yours below.

Every Tuesday after my infusion, I'd sleep for almost two and a half days straight. Not resting, sleeping. My husband spent that time reorganizing meds, researching recipes, prepping for whenever I surfaced.

I asked him to write about what caregiving actually looked like from his side. Link below.

Being there isn’t one thing. It’s a hundred small choices, and a lot of quiet ones no one sees.

If you’re wondering what I do when solo traveling 🥰 I find a pretty place, I sit down, and I open my book! I’m loving my Elyse Breanne Design️® kindle cover 😍😍

I’m 33. I want to stay out late, drink the second glass of wine, walk 20,000 steps and do it all again the next day.

Sometimes my body is just like… absolutely not.

Travel after cancer means more rest, less alcohol, more sleep and fewer “push through it” moments. And yes, sometimes that still frustrates me.

But I’d rather travel differently than not travel at all. 🤍

Anyone else feel like their mind and body are occasionally two completely different ages?
