I'm nine months pregnant, about to give birth any day now. This was supposed to be the happiest time for me, but now? A total nightmare. Aaron suddenly became so cold, distant, disappearing all the time. I thought I was just being paranoid, but it got worse. WHILE WE WERE EXCHANGING VOWS AT THE ALTAR, MY EX-HUSBAND WALKED IN WITH MY FIANCÉ’S EX-WIFE AND A BABY IN HIS ARMS

I thought this would be the best day of my life. Turns out, it was the worst. There we were, my fiancé and I, standing in front of all our loved ones, exchanging vows. Everyone was smiling, the moment was perfect, and I was overjoyed. I was finally marrying the man I truly loved—the man who loved me back.

We both came from messy, unhappy marriages. His ex-wife only cared about his money, and my ex-husband cheated on me and treated me like I didn't matter.

So there we were, about to exchange rings, when suddenly the doors to the venue flew open. And guess who walked in? OUR EXES. And they weren't alone—they were carrying a baby.

Jacob was just a regular janitor at a big corporate office. He was 37, pushing his cleaning cart down the hallway and listening to his favorite music through his headphones, just like any other day.

But then, something caught his eye. The door to the conference room was slightly ajar, and through the gap, he spotted the company owner deep in conversation with his wife, who also worked there.

Curiosity got the best of him. Jacob slipped off one earbud to listen in, and what he heard stopped him cold.

"If Jacob finds out I'm his brother, you know what that could mean for both of us!" the owner said, sounding tense.

"You can't keep this a secret forever," his wife replied quietly.

"I'll tell him when I'm sure it won't cause problems for me!" the man insisted.

Jacob just sank to the floor, completely stunned because he knew that the company's owner inherited the company from his father, while Jacob spent his whole childhood in the orphanage.

Mark's heart filled with excitement as Christmas drew closer. The bright glow of his neighbors' decorations lit up the street, and he couldn't wait to take in every display. He loved watching the twinkling lights and the cheerful decorations... But one house always stood out, not for its display, but because it had none. No Christmas lights, no tree on the front lawn—it was always empty.

Mark knew very little about the woman who lived there, as she rarely spoke to anyone. She was an elderly woman living alone in that corner house, keeping mostly to herself and seldom interacting with the neighbors or accepting invitations. She liked her solitude, but Mark always tried to help her out quietly whenever he could.

As he strolled through the street before Christmas, he noticed her house was still dark and undecorated. "Why doesn't anyone else offer to help put up lights or get her a tree?" Mark wondered.

On his way back home, he kept thinking he should do something to bring her a bit of holiday cheer. Every Saturday, she'd go to the local grocery store, so he figured that would be the perfect time to surprise her by decorating her house.

Sticking to his plan, Mark grabbed a ladder from his garage and some extra lights.
