On May 25, 2005, the stage was set in Istanbul for the UEFA Champions League Final — Liverpool vs. AC Milan.

By halftime, Milan were 3–0 up.
⚽ Maldini scored in the 1st minute.
⚽ Crespo added two more before the break.

🇨🇮 Didier Drogba: The Man Who Stopped a War

In the early 2000s, Ivory Coast was torn apart by a brutal civil war between the north and south. The country was divided — politically, ethnically, and emotionally.

But then came Didier Drogba, a footballer who became more than just a hero on the pitch.

In 2005, Ivory Coast qualified for their first-ever World Cup after defeating Sudan 3–1. In the dressing room after the match, Drogba did something extraordinary.
