What thing I don’t like is this idea of canceling a person just b/c YOU don’t like the way they delivered the truth. Maybe it was harsh, brash, direct, etc but at the end of aaaaaaalllla dat....was their ANY accuracy to the statement made....that’s the question we should always ask ourselves. Chocolate Tangerine is therapy for me and as it takes me longer to get to success than originally hoped I’m still proud of how far I’ve come and where I’m headed but the main thing is that I’m building this MY way so no one can take it...make me apologize for it NOTHING...AND I’ll NEVER make y’all forget I fought for my “freedom” so if I said it then I meant it...what else should I address on the show...did I miss the mark on this one...tell me your thoughts below.

Long story short...him and his wife were visiting family in Mississippi (1st mistake)...they stopped in Alabama for gas (2nd Mistake) and their MUSIC was too loud at the gas station...cop asks if he can search the car and they said yes(3rd mistake)...he has cannabis on him b/c he’s a FCK’N PATIENT in a legal state and they arrest him‼️Def want to go on record saying we are HERE for tRump and we hope he continues to run this country in the ground b/c it wasn’t built for us anyway🤷🏾‍♀️...if we don’t hold EVERY cannabis company accountable until he’s free then we don’t deserve an industry at all‼️

As much as things appear to change, they are staying the same when talking Alabama, the Police, Black Lives, and Cannabis.

“A 2016 arrest for ma*****na that has turned into a 60-month sentence in an Alabama penitentiary for a disabled veteran from Arizona is drawing national attention.

On June 30, Alabama Appleseed Director Leah Nelson wrote an account of an arrest and pending imprisonment of a Black disabled veteran that could not have happened in many other states. The story has been picked up by the New York Times and a number of national news outlets.

Black disabled veteran Sean Worsley and his wife, Eboni, were arrested in Pickens County in August 2016. The Worsleys had visited Eboni’s family in Mississippi and were on their way to North Carolina to visit his family. They however made the life-altering mistake of stopping to purchase gas in Alabama on their way to NC.

A Gordo police officer approached the Worsleys at the gas station. He said their music was too loud, was a violation of the Gordo noise ordinance and asked to search the vehicle. The Worsleys assented believing they had broken no laws. That was a mistake. Ma*****na is still illegal in Alabama even if you purchased it in one of the states where it is legal.

The officer said that he smelled ma*****na and asked the couple about it. Sean told him he was a disabled veteran and had a medical ma*****na card.

“I explained to him that Alabama did not have medical ma*****na. I then placed the suspect in handcuffs,” the report reads.”. (

—in collaboration with a collective of organizers, organizations and community members in the Bronx, Harlem and Washington Heights — is launching a summer youth education and organizing program, Summer Youth Brigade (SYB). SYB creates an educational platform where youth learn to take the lead in the movement for food justice.

1Freedom will hire 15 youth organizers to operate a “mutual aid” program providing free groceries to communities in Uptown Manhattan and the Bronx via “Solidarity Fridges”. Participants will be compensated at a rate of $20/hour for twenty (20) hours of work per week. SYB participants will become organizers in their communities and will explore the fight for systemic change in the NYC food system. In order to successfully (and safely) run this program, 1Freedom has built a network to provide SYB organizers with mentorship, support, training, and education during the program. This four-week pilot program will start on August 6th and run through August 31st.

The vision of this community-supported, youth-led, program is as follows:

Mutual aid: approximately fifteen (1-3) refrigerators will be purchased, decorated, and placed on the street which will be open and available to anyone who needs food. SYB organizers will restock and maintain these “solidarity fridges,” located in their community.

Youth-led Organizing: Youth will build and cultivate community relationships necessary to support and operate “solidarity fridges” in their neighborhoods, with partners (like tenants associations, urban gardens, restaurants, nonprofits and local organizations).

Popular Education: 1Freedom will provide the platform and support for SYB organizers to ask questions, investigate, and present their findings around issues they see in the NYC food system and in their lives. SYB organizers will participate in skills-based workshops, discussions around systematic oppression in our food system, and study the central role of food in social movements in resisting and reimagining our society.
