The Build Network

The Build Network The Build Network is the multichannel source of management advice, inspiration and connections for the leaders of smart mid-sized companies.

Before Build, there was no management website or publication focused on the unique needs of elite CEOs and executive teams leading businesses in the hot “middle market” – the world economy's “core” companies that are bigger and more sophisticated than small business but not yet billion-dollar corporations. Those are the companies – and those men and women are the leaders – that The Build Network @ Inc. (or Build, for short) is for. Delivering insights and advice to middle-market leaders isn't enough. Now matter how powerful those ideas are, or how excited leaders are to act on them, too often they have no impact. Even the best management ideas require a whole string of actions (adoption, then implementation, then execution over time) in order to yield what’s really wanted in the first place: not an idea, but an outcome. An organization-transforming result. Together we will grow and tie together a network that can be drawn upon to get new things not just imagined, but done. The Build Network @ Inc.

Mission: It takes a network To get a result, businesses need not only ideas, but help. They may need a coach, or a customized training program, or an ad hoc advisory group of CEO peers, or tools or technology or a consultant or an investor. They may even need more ideas, but this time ones that answer new questions raised by a new stage of their implementation challenge. It takes the proverbial village, is the point. It takes a network – through which leaders can tap the kinds of help they need at the times they need it. So that's what Build will grow and tie together: a network that can be drawn upon to get new things not just imagined, but done. The Build Network @ Inc.
