In the state of Georgia, once a person is invited to move into a home they establish lawful tenancy, even if the property is considered a marital home. They can only be forced to leave via eviction.
In Georgia, inviting someone to move into your home can legally establish their tenancy-at-will , even if there is no written lease or they do not pay rent . Once they are allowed to establish residency, you cannot legally force them out without following formal eviction procedure
