NeoCon and Design Days — two commercial design events held here this month — saw an estimated 50,000 attendees across both events, as the commercial market continues to hold its own.
The traffic at the show was strong, which is a good indicator of the market, noted Hilary Frank, vice president of commercial sales and business development for Daltile. “Lots of people and designers are traveling for NeoCon, and that’s a good sign.”
What’s more, having two shows in two locations did not create any issues, suppliers said. In fact, both markets saw strong attendance and good buzz. That was a good indication that Mohawk Group made the right choice to open a showroom in the Fulton Design Center to attract the A&D community, said Mark Page, vice president of design. “Business has been pretty good.
