BREAKING: Jake Tapper Torches Pete Hegseth's Anti-Leak Crusade With the Pentagon's Own Report

Pete Hegseth just declared war on leakers. Jake Tapper reminded America who the biggest leaker in the Pentagon actually is.

On Monday, the Defense Secretary announced a joint DOD and DOJ task force to hunt down and prosecute anyone who discloses sensitive military information, promising violators would face "the full force of the law." He called access to classified information a "sacred trust."

Tapper was not about to let that one go.

"I know of one leak that put our brave pilots at risk!" the CNN anchor fired back on X. Then he did what he does best. He played the tape. Tapper posted the Pentagon inspector general's own report on Signalgate, the scandal where The Atlantic's editor-in-chief was accidentally added to a group chat in which Hegseth openly discussed strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen.

The report's findings are devastating. It found Hegseth sent nonpublic information identifying the number and strike times of manned U.S. aircraft over hostile territory, on an unsecured app, on his personal phone, roughly 2 to 4 hours before those strikes launched. He shared it with family members.

The inspector general concluded Hegseth's actions "created a risk to operational security" that could have led to failed missions and harm to American pilots.

Read that again. The man now threatening federal prosecution for anyone who leaks military secrets is the same man the Pentagon's own watchdog says endangered U.S. pilots by texting classified strike plans to his relatives.

This is the pattern with this administration. Every crackdown is a confession. Every rule is for someone else. And it took one journalist with a link and a quote to expose the whole charade.

Tapper didn't need a monologue. He just held up the Pentagon's own report and let it do the talking.

If Hegseth's task force is serious about prosecuting leakers, they should start with the guy who created it.

BREAKING: In a major rebuke, federal judge torches Trump's IRS lawsuit as a scheme, recommends his lawyers be disciplined

A federal judge just exposed one of the most brazen self-dealing schemes of Trump's presidency, and she's making sure there are consequences.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams ruled Monday that Trump's lawsuit against the IRS over his leaked tax returns was filed for an "improper purpose," issuing a scathing decision that recommends attorney sanctions and disciplinary action against the lawyers who brought it.

Think about what this lawsuit actually was. Trump, as president, sued the IRS, an agency he effectively controls. He was suing himself, and the judge saw straight through it.

The suit ended in May with a settlement that created a $1.776 billion fund, money from American taxpayers, meant to compensate Trump's allies, along with immunity from tax audits. The fund has since been abandoned, but the scheme itself is now on the record in a federal courtroom.

Judge Williams did not mince words.

"The nature of the suit itself and the conduct of the Parties and counsel from its filing make plain that this was an attempt to use the Court to provide some legitimacy to an agreement to confer immunity to people and entities affiliated with the President and to earmark billions of dollars from American taxpayers to redress grievances not defined in the law," she wrote.

Read that again. A sitting federal judge just said, in writing, that the president of the United States tried to use her courtroom to launder legitimacy onto a scheme handing billions in taxpayer money and audit immunity to his own allies.

And she is not letting the lawyers who enabled it walk away clean. By recommending sanctions and disciplinary action, Williams is sending a message to every attorney who signs their name to Trump's schemes: the courts are not a rubber stamp, and your license is on the line.

Time and again, when other institutions have bent, judges have held. Judge Williams just proved it once more, and every taxpayer in America is better off for it.

BREAKING: Trump says he already has Graham's replacement picked just hours after his death

Lindsey Graham had been dead for less than twelve hours when Trump started talking about who would take his seat.

Speaking by phone to NBC's Kristen Welker on Meet the Press Sunday morning, Trump revealed he already has a successor in mind for the South Carolina senator, who died Saturday night from what his office called a brief and sudden illness. "I have somebody that I think would be great, but I don't want to say it now because it's too soon with Lindsey," Trump said.

He then said it again. "I have somebody that I like, but I'm not gonna tell you who now because it's too soon."

Graham was 71. He had just returned from a trip to Ukraine, where he met with President Zelenskyy on Friday, and was scheduled to appear on Meet the Press Sunday morning for what would have been his 64th appearance on the broadcast. Instead, Trump called in to discuss the man he once called one of his fiercest allies, and spent part of the interview teasing his replacement.

Graham spent the last decade transforming himself from one of Trump's harshest critics into what he called Trump's "North Star" in the Senate. He warned in 2016 that Republicans would "get destroyed" if they nominated Trump, then spent years defending him on every cable network that would have him.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster will appoint an interim senator to serve until January 2027, with a special election expected to determine who fills the seat long term. Trump praised McMaster in the same interview, noting the governor "endorsed me right from the beginning," and predicted he would "do the right thing."

For a man who built his political identity on loyalty to Trump, Graham's final measure of that loyalty came within hours of his passing: a president on the phone with a television host, already floating the name he won't say out loud. See less

Lindsey Graham grew up working in his parents’ bar and pool hall. After he lost his parents at age 20, he adopted his younger sister. He then served in the Air Force for 30+ years, eventually becoming one of the most loved members of Congress in American History.

Real Americans respect stories of hard work, sacrifice, and stepping up for family when life gets tough. Graham’s journey from small-town South Carolina to the United States Senate shows the kind of grit and service that built this nation.

While we don’t always agree on every issue, his long record of military service and dedication to America deserves recognition. Patriots value leaders who put country over comfort and stand firm when it matters most.

In an age of career politicians who never worked a real job, Graham’s background reminds us what authentic American resilience looks like. Service, family, and duty still mean something to real conservatives.

Honor the men and women who built this country through sacrifice and hard work. Support leaders with proven character and love of nation. America First means celebrating those who serve and defend our way of life. God bless Lindsey Graham and every patriot like him!

Senator Lindsey Graham dedicated his life to serving our nation, both in uniform with the U.S. Air Force and as a steadfast voice in the Senate for South Carolina. His passing reminds us of the sacrifices made by those who put country first, defending freedom and standing strong on the world stage. We owe him gratitude for his decades of commitment.

It is heartbreaking to see some reveling in his death with such cruelty. True Americans know that political differences should never descend into hatred that celebrates loss of life. This kind of behavior reveals a troubling lack of basic human decency in our discourse today.

Let us honor Graham’s legacy by choosing respect over division. In times like these, we turn to faith and shared values to rise above bitterness, remembering that every public servant deserves dignity in their final rest. Our nation is stronger when we remember what unites us.

BREAKING: Trump admits live on CNN "we're trying to have CNN go on a normal path"

Trump delivered a stunning admission live on CNN's own airwaves Sunday, telling anchor Jake Tapper that his administration is actively working to steer the direction of the network, a statement that immediately set off alarm bells about press freedom in America.

Trump did not even try to hide it.

"We're trying to have CNN go on a normal path, and we'll do that," he said.

A sitting president, on live national television, openly stating that he is working to control the coverage of an American news network. And instead of pushing back, Tapper thanked him.

"Well, I'm on a normal path right here, sir, and I appreciate your time. And thank you for calling in," Tapper replied.

Trump had phoned in to discuss the sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham and declined to answer questions on any other subject, including the latest U.S. strikes on Iran. Tapper accepted every limit without objection, closing by telling the president "we would love to have you back sometime."

The backlash was immediate and brutal. Viewers flooded social media calling Tapper an "enabler" and a "sycophant." One wrote that it is not up to the president "to direct the 'path' any news organization follows," adding that if CNN is buying into this, it should "close their doors, or officially merge with Fox." Another put it plainly: "Admitting they are trying to control the media."

The timing makes the admission even more chilling. The Justice Department just approved Paramount Skydance's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN's parent company, a merger that depends on staying in the administration's good graces. When a president talks about putting a network on a "normal path" while holding leverage over its owners, that is not a slip of the tongue. That is a warning.

Just months ago, Tapper himself declared on air that CNN's job "is not to try and please the president or only report the statements he likes." On Sunday, Americans watched him do exactly that, and they made clear the free press answers to the public, not the president.

BREAKING: Democrats now effectively control the Senate as Trump's majority collapses with Graham and McConnell gone

The balance of power in Washington just flipped, and Trump has no way to stop it.

With Senator Lindsey Graham's sudden passing this weekend and Senator Mitch McConnell hospitalized since mid-June with no timeline for his return, Republicans are down to just 51 working votes on the floor against 47 Democrats. On paper it's still a GOP majority. In practice, it no longer is.

Six Republican senators, Murkowski, Tillis, Cassidy, Collins, Paul, and Cornyn, have already voted against Trump or been publicly targeted by him for stepping out of line. With margins this thin, Democrats only need a couple of them on any given vote to control the outcome. That means Democrats, working with Republicans that Trump himself alienated, now effectively control the Senate floor.

Every nominee, every spending bill, and every piece of Trump's agenda now has to survive a chamber where his opponents hold the real leverage. The president who demanded total loyalty spent years attacking the very senators who now decide his fate.

South Carolina's governor will eventually appoint a replacement, but for now, nothing moves through the Senate without Democrats and the Republicans Trump pushed away saying so.

BREAKING: Lindsey Graham dead at 71 after sudden illness

Senator Lindsey Graham, one of Trump's closest allies on Capitol Hill, died Saturday night from what his office called a "brief and sudden illness." He was 71.

Emergency crews responded to a cardiac arrest call at his Capitol Hill home, and staff say there was no sign he was unwell. Graham had just returned from meeting Zelenskyy in Ukraine and was scheduled to appear on Meet the Press Sunday morning.

Trump posted a 3:21 a.m. tribute on Truth Social, calling Graham "one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known." It marked the end of one of the most dramatic reversals in modern politics, from Graham branding Trump a race-baiting bigot in 2016 to becoming his most reliable defender in the Senate.

Graham was seeking a fifth term in November. Governor Henry McMaster will now appoint a temporary replacement, setting up a high-stakes fight over one of the most closely watched Senate seats in the country.

WOAH! Congressman Chip Roy is dropping truth bombs by demanding the deportation of Zohran Mamdani for his blatant Logan Act violations and anti-American activities. This radical has no business holding office or even being in our country while plotting against our interests. Patriots are cheering real conservatives who refuse to tolerate foreign agents in our government.

Mamdani and his radical allies represent everything wrong with unchecked invasion and leftist infiltration. They push agendas that undermine our sovereignty, attack our values, and prioritize outsiders over American citizens. Chip Roy is exposing the rot that weak Republicans ignored for far too long.

The swamp and radical left are furious because accountability is finally coming for traitors in our midst. America First means removing those who violate our laws and work against our nation from within. No more foreign influence peddlers deciding our future while churches burn and crime explodes.

President Trump built the movement that empowers fighters like Chip Roy to demand mass deportations and real justice. We need more leaders with backbone who put citizens first instead of coddling invaders. The time for polite games is over.

Patriots stand with Chip Roy and every warrior fighting to deport threats like Mamdani and secure our republic. Demand full investigations, immediate removals, and total victory for America First policies. Together we will purge the infiltrators and restore our nation to greatness!
