Hello my LIR lovelies! In addition to what I do with LIR, I’m also and assistant principal at a school and for music class the students are programming a radio station the way we program LIR. I’m looking for used iMacs and MacBooks so the kids can use garage band and other production tools. We are ideally looking for donations but we have a small budget if you are willing to sell at a discount. We will, of course, pay for shipping or I can pick it up. Quincy Jones and New Order are connected in several ways:
Qwest Records

Jones owned Qwest Records, the US record label for New Order. Jones's joint venture with Warner Brothers, Qwest Records, licensed New Order's records from Factory Records to sell in the US. New Order was one of the first signings to Qwest Records.


In 1988, Jones and John Potoker remixed New Order's song "Blue Monday" as "Blue Monday 1988". The remix topped the US dance chart and reached number 3 on the British chart.
