Edit: We got rid of everything but the stove and framing for the bench. The flooring will be replaced throughout the whole room once we figure out what to do with this.
My husband and I moved into his parent’s old house and are slowly redoing pretty much everything. We are lost on what to do here. This is a fully functioning wood stove that we use in the winter for supplemental heat.

I’m stumped! What can I do for a coffee table in front of this reclining sofa? Side tables are not an option. Thank you!

Someone is giving us this couch and I wasn’t sure about it. Any ideas of how I can style it? I normally do beige and neutral stuff so I’m not sure how to make it look modern yet cozy and aesthetic. I love framed oil paintings etc.
It’s not the coffee table just the couch.
I have white ish walls and neutral carpet in my place

This is my living room! New curtains and new rug. Couch is staying. I know I need a new coffee table, I just don’t know what color. And I know the rug needs to be pulled more under the legs of the couch. I’m looking for a circular table, should I get a lighter brown table?

Looking to add two lights and an area rug.
1. What kind/size of rug? Should it cover a smaller square than the couch to only include the coffee table/ottoman?
2. Should I do two floor lamps or end tables with table lamps? They’ll both have smart bulbs so they’ll be easy to turn on and off on a schedule or by voice.
