GTA 6’s latest parachuting footage gives fans a closer look at Rockstar’s evolution in character animation, visual detail and world design since GTA 5.

The extended footage shows Lucia base-jumping from a skyscraper before opening her parachute, with more realistic body movement, cinematic camera work and a much denser Vice City environment below.

Rockstar says the showcase was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, offering fans a direct look at the next generation of GTA gameplay.

For more than 30 years, the Sikorsky Prize challenged engineers to build a helicopter powered entirely by human strength. The goal was to hover for at least 60 seconds, reach 3 meters in altitude and remain within a 10-meter square.

AeroVelo’s Atlas finally achieved the impossible on June 13, 2013. Powered by a single pilot pedaling a bicycle-like frame and four enormous rotors, Atlas hovered for 64 seconds at 3.3 meters, meeting every official requirement and earning the $250,000 prize.

It became the first human-powered helicopter to successfully complete the challenge. 🚁

Canadian engineer John Tse developed an experimental flying umbrella designed to hover above a person and follow them automatically. Using drone technology, a depth-sensing camera and AI, the prototype can track its user without needing to be held.

The umbrella can provide shade on sunny days and light protection from rain, with a reported flight time of around 10–15 minutes per charge.

It is still a research project, with battery life, safety, weather conditions and public-flight regulations remaining major challenges.

While it isn’t commercially available yet, the concept offers a fascinating glimpse at how AI and robotics could transform everyday objects in the future.

Bugatti has teamed up with Austrian luxury-tech company C SEED to create the C SEED BUGATTI N1, a futuristic MicroLED television designed to look like a sculptural piece of furniture when switched off.

With the press of a button, five panels rise and lock together in about 45 seconds, creating a massive 110- or 137-inch display. The screen can also rotate up to 180 degrees, allowing viewers to watch from different positions in the room.

The price has not been officially confirmed, but reports estimate it could cost around $400,000–$500,000. From a sleek sideboard to a giant home cinema in under a minute. 🤯

Yes, this was real. In 1991, seven Mazda engineers created the bizarre “Suitcase Car” for the company’s internal Fantasyard innovation competition.

They fitted components from a pocket bike into a large suitcase, creating a three-wheeled vehicle that could be assembled in roughly a minute. Its tiny 33.6cc two-stroke engine produced about 1.7 horsepower and could push it to around 30 km/h (19 mph).

It was never intended for mass production, but Mazda later built additional examples after the concept attracted attention.

A powerful magnitude-7.7 earthquake struck eastern Indonesia, killing at least 20 people and injuring several others, according to rescuers.

The quake triggered small tsunami waves and a temporary tsunami warning, which was later lifted.
