Convention registration is now open with flexible à la carte pricing, and we’re seeking door prizes and auction items. Remember: scholarship applications and raffle ticket stubs are due September 30. ⏰ Time is almost up! Today, September 15, is the very last chance to grab the all-inclusive early bird package for the NFB of PA State Convention. For just $200, you’ll get registration plus nine meals—a savings of nearly $70 compared to paying separately.
Convention runs November 13–16 in Harrisburg with tech seminars, Family Feud, division meetings, auction night, general sessions, and a celebration of the NFB’s 85th anniversary. Scholarship applications are due September 30, and we’ve got raffle tickets and fundraisers happening, too.

We’ve got a lot happening across Pennsylvania! Scholarship raffle tickets are on sale—1,000 tickets means $5,000 raised to support next year’s scholarship winners. The Greater Philadelphia Chapter heads to Atlantic City on September 2, while the Capital Chapter continues its Panera e-gift card fundraiser. Looking ahead, the Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter’s Dancing in the Dark to Be Dancing in the Light gala is coming in October. And of course, our State Convention is set for November 13–16 in Harrisburg, with meals, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to connect.

It’s a light week for meetings, but there’s no shortage of updates in this week’s Federation Focus! Tonight at 8 PM, join the State Convention Planning Meeting where we’ll dive into badges, bracelets, and a scavenger hunt to boost traffic in the exhibit hall. The Senior Group meets Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Convention registration is open—secure the $200 all-inclusive package (9 meals!) before September 15. Fundraisers continue with the scholarship raffle, Greater Philly’s Atlantic City bus trip, Greater Lehigh Valley’s October gala, and Capital Chapter’s Panera gift cards. Federation Focus for the Week of August 11, 2025 is packed with updates and events! Watch now: https://youtu.be/RruIjqWn2BI.�State Convention registration is officially open, with an early-bird $200 all-inclusive package covering nine meals—available until September 15. Scholarship applications are also live for legally blind students enrolled in college this fall.
This week features five meetings: Deafblind Division (Mon, 7 PM), State Convention Planning (Tue, 7:30 PM), Greater Berks Chapter (Sat, 10 AM), Erie County Chapter (Sat, 2 PM), and Blind Parents Division (Sat, 7 PM).
Two fundraisers are underway—$25 Panera e-gift cards from the Capital Chapter and October’s nightly cash raffle benefiting the state scholarship fund.
