The ego can’t convince of itself as it can only form words without any awareness. Its an assertion of personhood, a fight to exist as something more than it feels. Self improvement and healing on one hand, or resignation and avoidance on the other, its a state of unconsciousness that projects a false reality it attempts to reconcile with reality itselt with endless analysis and subjective understanding. #
