At first, scientists believed it was just another snow-covered hill.

But as the ice melted, an enormous perfectly round object appeared beneath the Arctic.

Its surface looked almost identical to the Moon.

Smooth.

Ancient.

And unbelievably massive.

Whether it's nature or something else, discoveries like this remind us that Earth still holds countless mysteries.

This enormous dorsal fin cuts through the ocean like a knife, reminding us that the sea belongs to wildlife long before it belongs to us.

Imagine relaxing on a luxury yacht... then looking over the edge and realizing dozens of giant sharks are circling beneath you.

From above, the ocean looks calm and peaceful. But below the surface, an entirely different world exists.

Great white sharks are powerful apex predators and can travel hundreds of miles through open water, often without anyone ever noticing.

The ocean still hides countless mysteries, and moments like this remind us how small we really are.

Then it started moving.

The dark shape stretched far beyond the size of their boat, creating one of the most terrifying sights imaginable.

While the legendary Megalodon is long extinct, discoveries in the ocean continue to remind us how little we truly know about what exists in the deep.
