Perspective is a funny thing. I wrote this a couple of years ago and just came across it, using the perspective of a past relationship. When I read it this time, I couldn’t help but see it from the outlook of other things that have ended recently that I didn’t really have a choice in. I truly think the only thing that can fully bring closure, is time. Not one more conversation, not the answer to a question, just time.

Not sure what day it is or how many more poems I can possibly write over Christmas break, but I do know I’m particularly proud of the backtrack on this one because I made it a little different than I usually do when I do it myself. Anyway love you and thanks for listening ❤️
