Tonight the Hooligan team will celebrate the 20th Anniversary release of End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones. 🎶
Our very own Kane Platt and Chinagraph/Hooligan had the extraordinary honor of advising the talented Directors/Editors Michael Gramaglia and Jim Fields and Editor, John Gramaglia on this film. Kane also attended Slam Dance in 2003 to assist in promoting the film. 🎞️

On August 16th 1974 The Ramones played their first gig at CBGB and with it changed the course of music history. In August of 2004, the critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated and only authorized documentary on the band was released in theaters around the world.

About the Film:
Heralded by Rolling Stone as “the best music documentary of its time,” the film follows three decades of recording, touring, and antics by America’s first and most notorious punk band, the Ramones. The film was edited by John Gramaglia and directed by Michael Gramaglia and Jim Fields. It took five years to shoot and edit the epic film, which premiered at CBGB’s, the notorious NYC music club. End of the Century remains the band’s only authorized documentary.
