God covers our failures with His love because He loves us and our kids SO MUCH. When you don’t respond with the right tone or words; God’s love is there to stand in the gap for you. What a gift!

We spend so much of life searching for peace, love, purpose, and a place to belong. But perhaps the deepest longing of the soul cannot be fulfilled by this world. One day, when our earthly journey ends, may we discover that what our hearts were truly seeking was Christ. May we live today with eternity in our hearts and Jesus as our destination.

Scattered Flock

Boast in the Lord

"Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. (NLT)"
Psalm 20:7

"What do you trust in? Are you relying on a certain political party? An investment? Your education? Savings? All of these are our modern day “chariots and horses.” God shows us that it is foolish to boast in these things. Let’s be people who boast in God’s power and ability at work in our lives! "

Father, let Your light shine through me, especially when someone near me is walking through a darkness I may never fully understand. Let me notice the person who is quietly hurting, speak kindness when someone feels forgotten, and offer warmth when the world has made their heart cold.

I may never know how much a gentle word, a patient heart, or a small act of love can mean to someone. So use my life in ways I cannot see. Let my presence bring a little peace, my words bring a little hope, and my love point quietly back to You.

I don't need my life to be great in the world's eyes. I only pray that through me, someone may catch a glimpse of Yours. 🤍✝️🙏
