Bye South Dakota. You really showed off for us this past month and we have really enjoyed your beauty. It’s now time for us to say goodbye as we are off to Wyoming and the beauty that state has to offer. Yellow Stone and Grand Tetons, ready or not, here we come. Love hugs and kisses. 😘

Way too hot today to do much of anything. 2:30p today it was 107 and even now at 4:50p it’s 103 🥵. We did find Cascade Falls and had a nice picnic lunch, then went to a wild horse sanctuary, drove to Angostura Reservoir that definitely showed proof of a two year drought and lastly, of course, ice cream 😜. Stay cool and hydrated everyone. Tomorrow we will be preparing the 5th wheel for our departure on Tuesday to Sheridan, WY. Love hugs and kisses.

Last night we went back to Mount Rushmore for the ceremonial flag folding and lighting of the memorial . It’s truly a jaw dropping emotional experience. We did the Presidential Trail and stood under the memorial. Granted it was somewhat a strenuous trail that included 425 stairs but again worth it. If you are ever even remotely close to this memorial, you MUST go. Love hugs and kisses 😘.

Today we decided to actually go in at Crazy Horse, since we were so early for our train ride, I’m really glad we did. It is truly a massive sculpture with an amazing story line. Once it is completed, if in my life time, would love to come back and see it. After, we took a western shoot out train ride. With this being our last week here before heading to Yellowstone, not sure what it may bring. Always love, hugs and kisses 😘.
