FORGIVE ME, MOMMY 😢🐾…
I was there where you left me for two whole days. Sleeping right on the side of the road. I was terrified of the noise from the cars but I did not move.
Last night one of those cars stopped and she got out. She invited me to lunch but I said no. She invited me to come sleep at her house and I also said no. I tried to explain to her that I was waiting for you but she wouldn’t listen. She pulled out a leash and said I couldn’t stay there any longer. I bit her several times and ended up peeing on myself as I growled and cried! She didn’t understand that she was separating me from you! She took me against my will and we drove off! I was so sad because I knew you were going to be worried. We ended up at her house.
I kept screaming hoping you would hear me but you never came. I vomited because of my nerves, feeling so sick. I kept telling her I had to go back because you were going to think I abandoned you when you saw I wasn’t there! I, who love you with all my heart and soul have not stopped crying since we separated a few days ago. I want you to know, I would never do that to you.
I don’t know where you are now or why you stopped the car and left me there. Surely you had something very important to do. Can you come find me now, mommy?
Today I ate because my tummy was hurting. I also slept on a very soft bed. And by accident I also wiggled my tail a bit. I’m so sorry, please forgive me. She’s just being really nice to me. She said I could stay forever. She’s calling me Savannah, but I already have a name. When you pick me up you can tell it to her. You’ll see how surprised she’ll be when you explain to her that this was a big mistake.
Because mommy, you’re coming back for me, right 😢🐾?

KISS OF LIFE"
In 1968, the author received the Pulitzer Prize for this photograph - one of the most prestigious awards in the United States, which is awarded for achievements in music, cinema, theater and journalism.
The picture shows two electricians, Randall Champion and Jay Thompson, hanging from a power pole. That day there was a strong heat and nothing foreshadowed trouble. The hum of air conditioners in July 1967 was heard throughout the state of Florida. Because of them, in the city of Jacksonville, there was an overload of power lines, and this caused a power surge.
Randall and Jay were doing routine maintenance on a live line when Randall accidentally touched one of the wires. A discharge of 4000 V passed through the body and his heart stopped. For understanding: during the ex*****on in the electric chair, a voltage of 2000 V is used
Randall's lifeless body hung from the harness. But his partner Jay did not lose his head, realizing that every second is precious, he began to give him artificial respiration right on the pole. It was very inconvenient, but there was no other way out. In such a situation, it is difficult to conduct a normal resuscitation, but Jay still tried to start his friend's heart until he had a weak pulse.
Only after that he unhooked his partner's insurance and, throwing him over his shoulder, went down to the ground. By the time the rescuers arrived (they were called by professional photographer Rocco Morabito, who happened to be at the scene), Champion was already conscious on the ground.
Not only was he saved, thanks to Thompson, but he lived another 35 years. The electrician died in 2003 at the age of 64.
Thompson is alive today.

Writing and reading decrease our sense of isolation. They deepen and widen and expand our sense of life: they feed the soul. When writers make us shake our heads with the exactness of their prose and their truths, and even make us laugh about ourselves or life, our buoyancy is restored. We are given a shot at dancing with, or at least clapping along with, the absurdity of life, instead of being squashed by it over and over again. ~Anne Lamott

My son caught the wrong train tonight. It was an express an hour away from his intended station. My son was scared and quietly crying. My husband and I were furiously trying to work out what train he was on and a way back.

A very kind lady asked him ‘are you ok darling?’

He said he didn’t know where he was and she helped him work out what to do to get back. Once at station she guided him to the right platform.

I wish I could thank her! Her kindness gave him comfort in a time of great vulnerability. Bless her. We are most grateful.

"This is my new friend, Kenny, but he goes by the nickname Frog, because of his deep voice. I stopped in at Goodwill today to find a shirt for a party I am having. I went in knowing that I was going to buy a shirt to cut the sleeves off of.
Apparently I was meant to stop here today. Mr. Kenny walked in and was begging for a clean tshirt, at a place which is run strictly from our donations. They not only turned him away, the cashier was nasty mean to him.
All he wanted was a clean shirt and maybe some pants. He kept saying how cold he was, and I am sure he was because his shirt was soaked. When they finally called for a manager, this gentleman stood In front of everyone embarrassed and crying, they couldn't even take him to the side, just let him stand at the counter crying.
I purchased 4 shirts, a pair of jeans and boxers as well as a comforter so that when he is sleeping under the bridge tonight maybe he will be warm.
There was another man that came up and gave him $5 for a warm meal, and Kenny promised he was going to get some chicken at Lees. I am not telling you so I can brag, I am telling you this so I can ask you to please say prayers for Kenny and all other homeless like him."

People laughed at this mom when she revealed she makes her 7-year-old son clean, and teaches him how to cook and do laundry. They mocked her, claiming she was turning him into a girl.
But I say cleaning cooking and laundry are life skills not wife skills.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.

Beach in 1970. There are no fat, tattooed, plastic, etc... There are no sunbeds, umbrellas and sunglasses, various creams... There are no cell phones, so people talk, and there are no white lines in the sky... There is nothing, but there is everything! ❤️❤️❤️
