BREAKING: Trump Hands $1.6 Billion No-Bid Contract to His Own Donor

Trump just gave one of his biggest campaign donors a $1.6 billion payday, no competition required.

Customs and Border Protection awarded the massive no-bid contract to Barnard Construction to build 112.5 miles of border wall through eastern New Mexico. The government cited "urgency" as the reason competitive bidding wasn't necessary, an explanation that hasn't satisfied government watchdogs asking why an established federal contractor list was skipped entirely.

Barnard's chairman, Tim Barnard, and his wife contributed more than $1 million to Trump's 2024 campaign. This isn't an isolated deal either. Barnard Construction and its affiliates have now received more than $5.6 billion in border wall contracts since Trump returned to office, pushing their total federal haul past $7 billion when older contracts are included.

Experts who track federal spending say the pattern raises serious red flags, and Barnard's own competitors have taken notice too, with one company suing the government after CBP promised the bulk of new Texas and New Mexico wall contracts to Barnard and one other firm.

Once again, the pattern is impossible to ignore. Donate to Trump, skip the bidding process, collect billions in taxpayer money.

BREAKING: Trump's AI Golf Photo Fools Absolutely No One

Trump posted a golf photo of himself with Gary Player, and someone forgot to tell him the internet has eyes.

The original picture, taken by a Getty photographer, shows exactly what you'd expect from an 80 year old man riding around a golf cart on a hot day: puffy eyes, a blotchy red face, mouth hanging open mid conversation. The version Trump actually posted on Truth Social looked like a completely different person. Slimmer. Tanner. Smoother skin. Trimmed hair. Even his shirt logo got a glow up, swapped from a small patch to bold standalone letters.

Eagle eyed viewers noticed instantly, pointing out the telltale AI airbrushing, the painted looking background, and the total absence of a single pore anywhere on his face. It didn't take long for the before and after comparison to start making the rounds, and it wasn't exactly the flattering contrast Trump was going for.

This isn't new territory for him. Trump has spent months filling his Truth Social feed with AI generated fantasy content, from towering over Greenland to standing next to JFK to dressing up as a doctor. But this one hit different, because it wasn't a meme, it was supposed to be a real photo of him just playing golf.

Turns out even Trump's golf game needs a filter.

BREAKING: Passengers Boo Zuckerberg's $300 Million Yacht After It Ignores Stranded Boat

A small cruise ship full of everyday passengers just did what Mark Zuckerberg's $300 million superyacht refused to do.

When a 21-foot skiff ran out of fuel between Petersburg and Juneau, Alaska, the Coast Guard reached out to Zuckerberg's yacht Launchpad since it was closest. According to a passenger aboard the nearby UnCruise ship Wilderness Legacy, the Launchpad repeatedly refused to respond.

So the Wilderness Legacy made the detour instead, towing the stranded boat, which had two women, a child and a dog aboard, into a safe anchorage for the night and refueling it so everyone could get home safely.

When the captain announced why they'd changed course, passengers erupted into what one described as near unanimous booing, a crowd of regular people making clear exactly what they thought of a billionaire's yacht leaving a family stranded on the water.

It's a small moment, but it says everything. While Zuckerberg's crew stayed silent, ordinary passengers on a modest cruise ship didn't hesitate for a second to help strangers in need.

BREAKING: James Talarico Now Leads in Texas Polls, First Democrat to Do So Since 1988

James Talarico just did something no Texas Democrat has managed in nearly four decades, he's leading.

Three consecutive polls now show the Austin state representative ahead of Republican Ken Paxton in the race for Texas' open Senate seat. The most recent, from Texas Southern University, has Talarico up 47 to 45 percent, with earlier surveys from Texas Public Opinion Research and Fox News showing leads of 5 and 3 points. No Democrat has won a statewide race in Texas since 1988.

Talarico isn't just leading, he's building a coalition that breaks the old rules of Texas politics. He's dominating among independents, overperforming with younger voters by a wide margin, and even edging ahead among voters without a college degree, a group Republicans have counted on for years. Paxton, meanwhile, is struggling with his own base, and a majority of voters say they think he's corrupt.

Talarico's pitch centers on paid family leave, universal childcare, and a sweeping anti-corruption package that includes banning partisan gerrymandering, along with banning super PACs, corporate PACs, and congressional stock trading. He's framed the race as a fight against what he calls a corruption crisis driving up costs for working families, telling a crowd of more than a thousand supporters in Arlington that Texans who work hard and play by the rules deserve a shot at an affordable life.

It's still a close race, and Paxton's campaign isn't panicking yet. But for the first time in nearly forty years, a Democrat in Texas is the one ahead, and it's happening on a message built around paid leave, lower costs, and cleaning up corruption.

BREAKING: Trump's DOJ Goes 0 for 20 as Judge Tosses Colorado Voter Roll Lawsuit "With Prejudice"

Jena Griswold just handed Trump's Justice Department its 20th straight defeat, and this one came with a permanent slam of the door.

A federal judge dismissed the DOJ's lawsuit demanding Colorado's voter rolls, ruling that the department never had a valid reason or legal purpose for the request in the first place. The judge, a George W. Bush appointee, dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning DOJ can never bring it again.

Griswold, Colorado's Secretary of State, has been one of the loudest and most consistent voices standing up to Trump's voter roll crusade, and she wasn't shy about celebrating the win. "Trump and his DOJ are attacking elections and democracy," she said. "We will not let them win. Today's victory affirms that Trump's DOJ has no right to Coloradans' sensitive voter information. I will always defend our elections from unlawful federal interference."

This isn't a one off. Every single judge to rule on these lawsuits has sided against the DOJ, including eight judges Trump himself appointed. DOJ has also lost the only appeals court ruling issued so far, out of the 6th Circuit, in a nearly identical case against Michigan.

Twenty tries. Twenty losses. And officials like Griswold refusing to back down every single time.

BREAKING: CNN's Omar Jimenez Stands Up to Nancy Mace, Schools Her on the First Amendment Live On Air

Nancy Mace sat down for a one on one interview with CNN's Omar Jimenez expecting to defend her comments. What she got instead was a lesson in constitutional rights she clearly needed.

Mace had posted online that "every single Muslim holding public office in America is a trojan horse, and a threat to both national security and our republic," a statement that drew immediate and widespread backlash, including condemnation from Rep. Pramila Jayapal, who called it "blatant Islamophobia."

When Jimenez pressed her on it live, he didn't let her spin her way out. He laid out the First Amendment plainly, walking her through why religion has never been a disqualifier for serving in American government and why her framing was not just offensive but fundamentally at odds with the Constitution she swore to uphold.

Mace tried to hold her ground. Jimenez didn't budge. The exchange quickly went viral, with journalist Aaron Rupar summing up the moment perfectly: Jimenez calmly and clearly explaining the Constitution to a sitting member of Congress who apparently needed the refresher.

It's the kind of interview that reminds people what real accountability journalism looks like, someone unwilling to let a bigoted talking point sail by unchecked, backed up by nothing more than the actual text of the Constitution.

BREAKING: Trump's Leg Tapping Habit Sparks Fresh Health Questions Getting Off Marine One

Trump is once again facing questions about his health after new video appears to show him repeatedly tapping his leg while struggling to walk in a straight line after getting off Marine One.

It's not the first time cameras have caught the gesture. Trump has been filmed slapping or tapping his right leg multiple times over the past several months, from Air Force One's steps to windy tarmac walks, each time reigniting speculation online about what's behind it. A body language expert previously suggested it could be a "self-motivational ritual" to help him focus before tackling stairs, though no doctor has ever publicly linked the behavior to any specific condition.

Still, the pattern keeps repeating, and so do the questions. Online observers watching the latest clip pointed to what looked like an unsteady gait, with one widely shared post simply asking why he's "always slapping his side now."

There's no official explanation from the White House, and no confirmation of what, if anything, is behind the movement. But at 79 years old, and with a growing list of similar moments now stacking up on camera, it's easy to see why people keep asking the same question every time it happens again.

BREAKING: New Photos Show Trump's Bruising Has Spread Up His Arm

Trump showed up on the golf course this weekend with something hard to ignore: bruises visibly spreading up his arm, not just his usual hand.

The 80 year old president was photographed at the LIV Golf tournament at his Bedminster course, and the images immediately caught attention. Trump has been photographed with bruised hands before, something the White House has repeatedly brushed off, but this marks one of the first times the bruising has been seen extending further up his arm.

The White House's explanations have shifted over time. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt initially blamed frequent handshaking, an explanation that fell apart once a bruise turned up on his left hand too. Trump himself later attributed the marks to a daily aspirin regimen meant to thin his blood, citing a condition called chronic venous insufficiency.

Photos from the weekend also showed scrapes and band-aids on his fingers as he was seen slouched in a golf cart. Political commentator Brian Krassenstein pointed to the swollen veins visible in the images, asking why the president was spending the weekend golfing while the country deals with an active war and rising grocery prices.

Trump's team has never fully explained the recurring bruising beyond the aspirin claim, and each new photo only adds to the questions being asked.

BREAKING: El-Sayed Fires Back After Trump Attacks His Marriage: "Sarah and I Actually Like Each Other"

Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed just turned Trump's latest attack into one of the sharpest comebacks of the campaign.

Trump spent the morning firing off a barrage of posts attacking El-Sayed and his wife, comparing their family to his own and singling out El-Sayed's full name in a move that echoed his years of attacks on Barack Obama's middle name.

El-Sayed did not flinch. Appearing on CNN's State of the Union, he responded with a line that instantly went viral, noting that he and his wife actually like each other, adding that he had heard things were a bit rockier between the president and the first lady.

But El-Sayed used the moment for something bigger than a punchline. He pivoted straight into the stakes of the election, asking voters whether they can afford their gas, their groceries, and a better future for their kids under Trump's vision for the country.

He spoke about his own daughters, Emmalee and Serene, and the future he wants for them, standing in sharp contrast to the chaos and cruelty coming out of the White House.

El-Sayed and his wife have been together since college, married for two decades. While Trump spent the morning attacking a family, El-Sayed spent it reminding voters exactly what he is fighting for.

BREAKING: Conservative NYT Columnist Rips Trump's Second Term as "Corrupt and Bullying" in Farewell Column

A prominent conservative voice at the New York Times just delivered a brutal parting shot at Trump on his way out the door, and it is impossible to write off as liberal bias.

Ross Douthat, a right leaning columnist who spent 17 years at the Times, used his farewell column to describe Trump's second term as corrupt, bullying and destabilizing before departing to become a correspondent for 60 Minutes.

Douthat did not soften the blow. He wrote that Trump style populism has "displayed most of the vices that its critics anticipated," pointing to cronyism, chaos and an administration that stumbled into a Middle Eastern war with even less planning than the establishment governments it claimed to replace.

He was blunt about the human cost of the dysfunction, describing an administration that rewards hacks and loyalists over competence, and one that squandered credibility both at home and abroad.

What makes this remarkable is that Douthat spent years positioning himself as a critic of the left just as often as the right. This was not a partisan hit job. It was a conservative writer looking honestly at what Trump has actually done in office and concluding it has been a disaster of his own making.

Even as Douthat took aim at progressive politics in the same piece, his verdict on Trump was unmistakable. The corruption, the bullying, the destabilization, he laid it all out in his own words before walking out the door for good.

When even the conservatives who spent years giving Trump the benefit of the doubt are done pretending, that says everything about where this administration actually stands.
