🌸🎂 Garden Bloom Cascade Cake – Spring-Inspired Wedding Delight 🌺🌼
🎀 Theme:
A fresh floral cascade with vibrant gum paste flowers, perfect for romantic weddings or garden receptions.
🍰 Cake Flavor & Recipe:
Lemon Elderflower Sponge
Cake flour – 400g
Unsalted butter – 300g
Granulated sugar – 380g
Eggs – 6 large
Baking powder – 2.5 tsp
Lemon zest – 2 tbsp
Elderflower cordial – 3 tbsp
Whole milk – 180ml
🧁 Instructions (Step-by-Step):
Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
Add eggs gradually, then lemon zest and elderflower cordial.
Mix dry ingredients separately and fold into the wet mixture.
Pour in milk and mix to smooth.
Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 30–40 minutes.
Cool, level, and layer with frosting.
Apply white buttercream in horizontal lines with a comb scraper.
Chill before assembling the cascade.

Elderflower lemon cream cheese frosting:
Cream cheese – 250g
Unsalted butter – 150g
Icing sugar – 400g
Elderflower cordial – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp

A diagonal floral cascade featuring pink lilies, red roses, yellow and white blossoms with leafy greens. Each flower is made from sugar paste and arranged to mimic a fresh garden bouquet.
