✨𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋: US Appeal Court has passed a decision forcing Tik Tok to be sold

The U.S. Appeals Court has passed a decision forcing the Tik Tok app to be sold or banned early next year.

The decision is a big victory for the US Justice Department and will cause serious damage to the app's owner, Byte Dance Company.

Tik Tok, which is owned by Byte Dance company and has 170 million users in America, has been rejected.

Attorney General Merrick Garland said that the court's decision is an important step to prevent the Chinese government from using Tik Tok as a tool.

The Chinese embassy in America stated that the decision is a clear trade robbery and warned that America should handle the issue carefully so that it does not hurt the trust and relationship between the two countries.

According to the decision, Tik Tok could stop operating in America within the next 6 weeks if it chooses to be banned rather than selling to American companies.

Reuters reported that the Bait Dance company, which was founded by the US Department of Justice, is planning to appeal its decision to the Supreme Court.

The National Communication Authority is warning non-governmental organizations against illegal purchase and installation of Starlink internet devices without proper registration with the regulatory body.

NCA Director General, Napoleon Adok, stresses that registration is crucial to ensure tax compliance and national security.

“We've noticed that many of NGO's are buying Starlink [kits] in Europe and bringing and installing them. Of course, some of them as [because of] immunity, we could not access their premises, but we will talk with Starlink and they have given us statistics of those who are doing that and they are being sent so that when their billing come, they will have to pay, otherwise they will be compelled to disconnect,” said Adok.

Starlink is a private satellite internet service owned by American billionaire Elon Musk under his aerospace company SpaceX.

It provides coverage to over 100 countries and territories, and aims to provide global mobile internet coverage at affordable prices.
