On Sunday, May 17th, we said goodbye to our Stark.
After 48 hours on ventilatory support, Stark’s heart stopped mere hours after what we didn’t know at the time would be our final visit with him in the ICU. Despite fighting with everything he had, he ultimately succumbed to the severe pneumonia he worked so hard to overcome.
Stark was not just a dog here. In many ways, he was the epitome of Alpenspirit. He was the dog we were most proud to have produced. His stature, his personality, his strength, his type, his presence.
