Written and Directed by Rebecca Halfon, Esther depicts a 13-year old who, drunk with power after getting her braces off, tries to seduce her oblivious Hebrew tutor.

Enjoy, and let us know your thoughts on the comments!

S/W alum Rebecca Halfon (Bodega) is back with her new film Esther, a charmingly awkward coming-of-age comedy about the pain and glory of entering teenhood.

Hey there MPP supporters! The newest video from our Campfire Poetry series is out now: https://vimeo.com/371438862

For this installment, based on Walt Whitman's Tears, Director Jonathan Nelson is joined by dancer/choreographer Chalvar Monteiro as they explore a poem by Walt Whitman. Drawn to depictions of altered states of consciousness on film, Nelson takes on the blank canvas that is the spectrum of consciousness when we are in or around sleep to capture a man struggling with his innermost fears and insecurities.

Please let us know your thoughts in the comments and feel free to share with anyone who might enjoy this moving, unique collaborative work!
