Now that we are in August, we wanted to recap on some of our favorites from July!

July's Hits -
DJ's favorite cocktail was Desert Healer.
His thoughts: Desert Healear was a big suprise for me. It's kind of a simple drink, but the combo of flavors just works really well imo.

Shalini's pick was West 8th
Her thoughts: I enjoyed West 8th because it was the first cocktail we recorded outside. Fun challenge for sure!

Favorite reel to work on: The Closing Ritual
Our thoughts: The Closing Ritual reel was fun to create because we got to use things around our house as props. This time, it was a 2017 painting that Shalini did on a side table.
Side Note: We also like Absinthe cocktails a lot!

A short film involving running out of storage mid-filming 😑🥲...swipe to see the results. 😆

The moral here is that you can't cry over half poured drinks... pick yourself up and pour again! Cheers to it being Friday, folks!

Dunderstruck -
¾ oz (22.5 ml) Rum
½ oz (15 ml) Campari
¾ oz (22.5 ml) Strawberry Syrup
¾ oz (22.5 ml) Pineapple Juice
6 drops of Absinthe
Garnish: Pineapple Fronds

Recipe Origin: Matthew Roedel

Method -
Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker
Add ice and shake
Strain into a rocks glass with a large cube
Garnish and enjoy
