Reverend Zoltan Lendvai, a Catholic priest from Hungary, became famous for something unusual skateboarding in his priest’s robes.
He first learned to skateboard when he was 14, but years later, while serving in the town of Körmend, he saw how it could be more than just a hobby. By skating at the local park, he caught the attention of young people who might not normally step inside a church.
His fun approach broke barriers, and soon, more teens began showing up to Sunday services. For Father Zoltan, skateboarding wasn’t just about tricks it was a way to connect, inspire, and show that faith can meet people where they are.
