Another great loss for this generation of artists

🔴 ULTIM'ORA (✏️ Giuseppina Manin) Addio Maurizio Pollini. Una delle leggende del pianoforte del secondo Novecento è morto nella sua casa di Milano. Aveva 82 anni. Artista schivo e riservato, sommo innovatore dell’interpretazione alla tastiera, Pollini è stato un artista audace e coerente, fino all’ultimo fedele agli ideali artistici e civili che hanno segnato tutta la sua vita. Come pure le amicizie salde con Claudio Abbado, Luigi Nono, Renzo Piano. Accanto a lui fino all’ultimo la moglie Marlisa e il figlio Daniele, anche lui musicista. La camera ardente verrà allestita alla Scala, teatro a cui Pollini è stato sempre legato in modo speciale.

Ecco il comunicato della Scala: « Il Teatro alla Scala piange la scomparsa di Maurizio Pollini, uno dei grandi musicisti del nostro tempo e un riferimento fondamentale nella vita artistica del Teatro per oltre cinquant’anni. Il Sovrintendente Dominique Meyer, il Direttore Musicale Riccardo Chailly, i professori dell’Orchestra e i lavoratori scaligeri sono accanto alla moglie Marilisa, al figlio Daniele e a tutta la famiglia». ​👉 Leggi l'articolo completo sul sito del Corriere
