I really wondered if I would ever post content here again.
At a point, I considered deleting the entire page altogether.
For the past 365 days, I have fully immersed myself into my business, .co 🤍
Starting it in the heat of the pandemic, I made it my duty to ensure that black women had a one stop shop for content creation throughout.
As rewarding as it has been, I have worn myself thin this year.
With little to no personal life, I have dedicated every second of my being to these women to ensure that their businesses stayed afloat.
Last month, my body said, “That’s enough,” with my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
And, although I am still alive, able to navigate and maintain my life - the end of this year will be dedicated to giving myself a much needed break.
Don’t feel bad.
Don’t feel sorry.
Don’t get upset.
Because this is just a page in my book that I’m learning to live with.
I didn’t delete this platform because it is filled with those who have grown with me. From working as a stylist, to an influencer, to the owner of a full service content agency - I appreciate the relationships I’ve built here.
As I move deeper into creating my own content again, my focus is simple 👇🏾
Showcasing the lifestyle of a black woman who loves style, but loves content a little more.
Showcasing the lifestyle of a black woman who enjoys owning a business, but still faces the realistic struggles of it.
Showcasing the lifestyle of a black woman who enjoys serving others, but is continually looking for ways to serve herself.
Let’s call this chapter, ‘Mine’.
Thanks for listening 🤍
